Direkt am Strand,überall stehen Stühle und Luegen bereit. Schattige Plätze unter den Palmen. Baden okay, schwimmen wegen starken Wellen und gefährlicher Strömung nicht erlaubt ( im Februar ist es sehr aufgewühlt )

Fun in Palomino! Be aware of the sea conditions..

Playa Mandala is an amazing place for relaxation and disconnecting from the world. The beach is beautiful, but the water is very rough, with strong currents. Depending on the time of the year you should not enter the water. It is also quite far from the town and you need to walk everywhere, which I like or take moto taxis. Zully is great on answering questions and helping with any issues. We also went to the Palomino River with the tubing experience. Oliver was our guide! He knows the area very well, accommodates to your liking thinking also on safety and it is a lot of fun! The experience is very relaxing, the hike and motorcycle ride are a lot of fun too!

Espectacular, relajante y bello lugar

El hotel fue espectacular, la atención de todo el personal fue cálida y nos sentimos como en casa. La cabaña el morro 1 donde nos quedamos tiene una conexion especial con la naturaleza, la comida fue deliciosa (nuestras felicitaciones sinceras) y queda a igual distancia de los rios San Salvador y palomino. Creo que este hotel sera uno de nuestros favoritos para volver una y otra vez.

La atención al llegar es malísima no hay absolutamente nadie que te ayude con el equipaje, debí ir a decirles q me ayudaran con las maletas, no están pendientes del huésped! Al hacer check out tuve la sorpresa de que me querían cobrar unos precios completamente distintos a los de la carta que habían dejado en el mini bar. El sitio en general es muy bonito y óptimo para descansar

La experiencia en Hotel Playa Mandala fué en terminos generales muy buena. Como recomendación creo que falta en la habitación un televisor y televisión por cable y mayor iluminación en las áreas comunes.

A Nice Getaway in Palomino

Lovely location by beach. Very private with only 5 cabanas. Improvements would be a shower head for the shower instead of a pipe, and fruit for breakfast.

Muy tranquilo, debo anotar que no son claros en los precios de las comidas, por teléfono me dijeron unos y allá tenían más altos, aunque es costosa y deliciosa, no dicen los precios de cada plato y al final la sorpresa es que pagas más... Mucho más.

Es el lugar perfecto para descansar. Frente al mar, con personal muy amable, Cabañas cómodas es independientes y la comida es muy buena. Me encantaría regresar.

Nice spot - just remember you're in the jungle!

Overall, a good experience. The location is great, a little further out and quieter than the hotels and hostels closer to the main beach in Palomino. We enjoyed relaxing in the shade on the beach - it looks just like the pictures. The food was great! Staff was nice, and the woman at the reception spoke English so there were no communication difficulties. I hate to add the negatives as I feel like the staff did a good job in doing what they could, but we experienced some power outages, rat droppings (the problem was being addressed, I was told), and the wifi was out of order. Just remember, you're in the jungle!

Not as nice as expected...

The hotel is not as nice as I expected. The facilities are clean and basic but not very comfortable. There are not comfortable chairs in the rooms and terraces. They promised me Wifi but they dont have. The manager said that the service was unavailable in all the region, but it was not true. Other than that, the service is good, the food is excelent.

El hotel está lejos de todo, perfecto para descansar del ruido de la ciudad. Al mar no se puede ingresar porque es muy peligroso.El desayuno, almuerzo y cena muy ricos. Lo ideal es contratar el hotel con pensión completa porque no hay nada a menos de 20 km.

Great stay - Espectacular estadia

We had a 2 enjoyable night stay at this beach hotel. Comfortable bungalows with the basic amenities. Palomino is definitely a place to visit in the northern part of Colombia. We went river tubing which was an amazing experience. We were very happy to get back to the hotel and get delicious food prepared by Juana, the chef. Nuestra estadia fue simplemente espectacular! Palomino, Guajira es uno de los sitios que se deben conocer en Colombia. Punto de entrada a Ciudad Perdida en la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. El hotel bien ubicado sobre la playa, es muy comodo con toldillos, ventiladores y hamacas en la cabaña. Las 2 mejores estrellas del hotel son definitivamente Maria la administradora, y Juanita la chef. La atencion de Maria no pudo ser mejor, y las comidas y la charla de Juanita son siempre las mejores sorpresas del dia. Es el lugar para regresar con toda confianza.
