DO NOT STAY HERE – ITEMS STOLEN FROM THE SAFE! I was robbed from the hotel’s safety deposit box, and the hotel did little to help. I checked in and placed my American and Colombian passports along with cash in the safe. I stayed for 2 nights and never reopened the safe after securing my belongings the 1st night. When I checked out, I completely forgot to take my passports/ cash. I realized my mistake while traveling to another town an hour away and immediately tried to contact the hotel. No one answered my calls, so I sent multiple emails with my room number, urgently asking them to check the safe. It took two hours for them to respond, and when they finally did a video call, the safe was closed—but empty when opened. I never reopened the safe after locking my items inside. Housekeeping never cleaned the room as I was working there the whole stay. The worst part was the management’s complete lack of response. I called the manager repeatedly, but she refused to return my calls. I was polite and simply wanted answers, but she ignored me and gave me the email of the hotel’s director, who has also failed to respond. Who does that? This was clearly an internal theft, and the hotel did nothing to address it. Called the police- who have been very gracious and kind. Fortunately I know a lot of high profile public figures who have stepped to help and connected me to top area officials. I will be reporting on social media. Stay at your own risk.

Super clean, with nice amenities in the room such as fridge, stovetop and plenty of shelf space. Walkable to the main square in SM and a large grocery store, felt safe.

Avoid this hotel

I would avoid this hotel. It looks good in the pictures but it doesn’t look like that in real life. The room, especially the bathroom is not clean. The pool water is green and dirty. There was a big poop in front of our door one day and also there is no hot water.

Not worth it

I would not recommend this hotel. The front desk is unfriendly, the wifi doesn’t work in the rooms and there is no warm water. Cold showers only. The power went out twice while I was there at the most inconvenient times.

Spaces are ok for a low cost stay. It was weird thst they will only clean your room every 3 days when you are long term. The beds are terrible quality.
