A great choice for a water front property

Peace in the Middle of it All

With all the amenities and 15 steps to the beach access and half a block walk to all the food, wine and stores you need. Everyone has whatever they look for when vacationing. Will return again!

Prefect Seaside location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was spectacular, right on the Gulf, amazing views. The home is older and renovated so it has a warm charming atmosphere, great for families. Plenty of outdoor seating in private garden and on wrap around deck. Location is very convenient for walking to beach, or town square. Our family had an amazing experience. We did see 4 large cockroaches, and ants in the kitchen, which put a small damper on things. Also, the beach is beautiful and private but the cost for chairs and umbrellas is quite high. You aren’t permitted to use an umbrella not supplied by Cabana man. Ended up paying ~$700 for 5 chairs and 2 umbrellas x 3 days, something to consider. Front entry could be upgraded. Was supplied one door key and the lock was temperamental, key had to be inserted slowly and just right. I would suggest new lock or just go electronic entry.

The views of the gulf from the beachfront decks was beautiful and relaxing. Homeowner’s insured we had a wonderful visit and everything we needed! We also went to the playground, pool, and fitness center. All were enjoyed and well outfitted for our group.

Spring break Takeaways

Despite adjacent downtown Seaside being overrun with loud hordes of unsupervised teenagers, we were still able to enjoy a private and (somewhat) quiet spring break thanks to the property. If we come back, we probably won’t return during “Atlanta week”.

Amazing Fall Beach Escape with Wine

Great location, cleanliness an issue

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was wonderful, and Homeowner’s Collection was very responsive, but there were multiple issues with the house. To start with, the house was unlocked - including the front door and all ground floor windows, when we arrived. We could not get access to the key through the lock box, as there were three lock boxes and it was unclear which one was to be used. Also, the plugs in the master bath did not work and we had to call out maintenance. Multiple bulbs in the house were burned out and we had to tighten or replace them for them to work. The house was also not clean. There were dead and mildewed flowers on the kitchen table by our arrival packet. And the cushions on the sofa were dirty and there was tons of stuff under the pillows in the cushions.

Southern Exposure - Perfect Seaside Location with Incredible View

Southern Exposure in mid October

The cottage was beautiful, spacious, well laid out, and very conveniently located for access to the beach and town center. The view of the ocean was great and made for memorable sunsets. On the decks we could often enjoy the fragrance of gardenias! A large measure of privacy was possible and we always felt safe- even with small children. Highly recommend.

Can't wait to return

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation was a long time coming and this property did not disappoint. The home is set back just enough so you don't hear any traffic on 30A and it is just close enough to the square that you can walk to any shop. The space allowed for food in the kitchen was tight but having the separate ice maker made up for it. The view cannot be beat in this house and because of this we will make this the property we will return to every year to come. There was a moderate amount of sand under the furniture which I brought up with management along with the cabinets in the kitchen being really sticky. They apologized and said they would mention it to the cleaning staff.
