Not only at the wedding but with the house we stayed at with the help of Homeowner's Collection. They helped us with anything we needed day and night. I would highly recommend using their services if you plan on booking a vacation down in Seaside Florida!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rent through Homeowner's at least twice a year. They are always fantastic to work with. This trip was no different. Our house was ready early and when there were issues to address they were done quickly and easily. Dragonfly is in the most perfect spot:steps from the pavilion and perfectly close to downtown. The layout is very conducive to families with older children. They had the entire downstairs to themselves. Cons:I wish that I would have known that there was not a full-size refrigerator. That was tough with 2 college football players and their appetites. The house could use a little tlc but would not keep us from staying there again.

Stay Marred by the Aggressive Behavior of the Property Manager

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location of this home is ideal if you desire proximity to Seaside square and the beach, it comes at a price. Amy Wise-Cobble, the General Manager of Homeowner’s Collection, made our stay not worth the proximity. She and her adult daughter attempted to force their way into the home when my son answered the door. She was hysterical and extremely unprofessional. When she was denied access to the home, she threatened eviction. Amy cited “Occupancy of only 8 people” to justify entry. We hosted guests for dinner, were not disturbing the peace or breaking in rules, regulations, laws, or the rental contract. Upon leaving, they stated how they loved “getting to do this stuff.” We spoke to the chair of the board, Bob, who was lovely but this should never have been something with which we had to deal. The lack of professionalism and aggressive demeanor created a hostile environment that greatly detracted from our enjoyment of the rental.

An Amazing Vacation

Amazing beach cottage!

Merilee by the Sea is an amazing retreat in Seaside. It is decorated in such a comfortable beachy style. It is the perfect place to stay; close to the beach (you can see and hear the waves from every room), close to the town (to go get a bite to eat or a drink), but cozy enough to stay in , fix dinner and relax on the porch with a glass of wine. Merilee by the Sea has become our favorite place to stay on 30A.

Meri Lee by the Sea is very well maintained, nicely decorated and furnished - especially for a beach house! Great location with views of ocean from living room and master bedroom. Owner very responsive to questions. We travel all over the world but my husband said was most relaxing vacation he has had in years. Would love to stay here again!

Amazing, Relaxing Getaway

From the moment we arrived, it felt like heaven. Merilee By-The-Sea was even better than described. Our family had the best time with only a few steps to the beach and an easy stroll into town. Waking up to the ocean views from the upstairs MBR was really a treat. Can't wait to return. We're spoiled now.

Fabulous family vacation

Great place with a one minute walk to a private beach, no flip flops required for the walk. The heart of seaside another one minute walk. Beds are comfortable, with plenty of room in the bunk room for 4-6 kids. Would definitely rent again.

Best Seaside vacation!

Our family of five just returned from our week at Meri Lee by the Sea. It was wonderful. We are a veteran Seaside family. Over the years we have stayed many places and we have found our favorite. The cottage is an ideal location, beautifully decorated and maintained, and has the gorgeous sea right there! The owner was easy to work with and provided a lovely gift basket upon our arrival. We will be back!

Unforgettable Family Vacation

We spent a week at Meri-Lee by the Sea and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and has everything you could need to relax and soak in all that Seaside has to offer. The location is perfect! We were literally steps away from the most picture perfect beaches we have ever seen and able to walk to all of our favorite Seaside pastimes. We have visited Seaside and Meri-Lee by the Sea before but this was our first vacation with our son. I know it is a trip we will never forget!

Great Beach House in Seaside

This house is great. Just steps from the beach and the Seaside town square. The layout was perfect for our family with a master suite downstairs and another master suite upstairs. The bunkroom was perfect for our 4 year-old. All of the furnishings are nice - - beds are comfortable. You can't beat this house. We'll definitely be back.

Large 2nd br had 2 sets of bunk beds and it’s own bathroom w/ standup shower. Large screened in porch was great to let baby play while we enjoyed relaxing. Papa & Nana had the large king bedroom and en-suite upstairs, where the kitchen and living area were. Kitchen was kinda small, with a drawer freezer and a mini fridge, but we didn’t use it much anyway. Large covered deck has a small view of the ocean. Beds were comfortable and the whole house was clean. Very close to the beach. Quiet and relaxing stay. I can’t say enough about the management company. From beginning to end they were better than 5 stars. Every person was super helpful and friendly and we lacked for nothing.

Great Cottage. Perfect location!

What you see, is what you get. Pictures on the site are exactly how the cottage looks. It was clean, loved the decor and had everything we needed and more. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. Just steps away from being on the beach. A very short walk to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Owners were very responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great rental!

We had a great stay! It was our first time staying on the ocean side and we loved sitting on the porch and being able to hear and see the ocean. Great walking distance to everything in seaside. Right next to the beach access. Easy parking. Property management was great and responded quickly to texting and sent reminders for check out. My husband and I were with our parents and we loved having 2 king rooms. We were worried it wasn’t a full fridge, but it’s actually pretty large and was plenty for the 4 of us and there is a separate freezer as well. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for Mom/Dad and Preteen/Teen

We booked because of Merilee-by-the-Sea's location; perfect location in Seaside! Upon arrival we realized it really was more than just location "perfect". Our family has been to Seaside many many times. Each visit we have found a different Seaside pleasure to book. This year we found our repeat location. Steps ~ literally ~ from the ocean, coffee shop, Seaside activities … great for families who have preteen/teenagers. Keeping a lookout while enjoying the beach. Thank you Merilee for being so easy to book with and having such a great house for our family. We will be back!

Perfect Stay!

Loved everything about this property, starting with the lovely owner Merilee! Perfect spot right near town (but not so close that it's too loud). The home is not large, but had everything we needed for our four girls. Great ocean views and the interior of the home is decorated and maintained beautifully. I did have some concerns that our teenagers would have too much access in and out during the night since they were on the lower level and we slept upstairs...but honestly I think they were too tired to do anything past 10pm! I'd rent here again in a heartbeat - thank you Merilee!!

Our Favorite Cottage by the Sea

Merilee by the Sea, is our favorite beach get away. The cottage decor is beautiful, the kitchen well appointed, and the views are wonderful. Our adult children have spent time with us at the cottage and the first floor was perfect for them, allowing them their own TV, bathroom and small kitchen. We love the town of Seaside and all it has to offer, and the cottage is just a few steps away from the town square. Once we arrive we rarely use our car, as everything you need is in walking distance. You will not find a more beautiful beach, with crystal clear water, and white sand, with beach access right out your door. Don't forget the eat at Crush, which is our favorite, have grits Ya Ya at The Great Southern and of course try to guess the time of the sunset at Bud and Alleys.
