Once Upon A Tide is in an excellent location, almost in the center of Seaside but on the quieter end of Seaside Ave. When we weren’t out biking, walking, beaching, shopping or swimming (the adult pool is 40 steps away), we spent most of our time enjoying the 2nd floor porch off the bedroom. It is a comfortable place to people watch, read or just enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery. The house is well appointed, comfortable and stylish and had everything we needed or wanted. There was no one staying in the larger portion of the house so we had the sole use of the ground level outdoor seating area and enjoyed that space - its string lighting adds to the magical feel of the neighborhood. The corner lot where this house is located is one of the largest in Seaside so it feels very grand. We’ve stayed in 6 or 7 different locations in Seaside but this one was definitely our favorite and will stay here again when our plans call for just a one bedroom. One thing to note: we arrived after dark and not knowing the layout of the property we couldn’t find our entrance door with key pad very easily. I tried calling the after hours number for the rental agency but got no response. We finally found our entry door (it’s on the back side of the house). Other than that issue, and not including our pool passes in our welcome packet, the property management company was good and their communication better than expected .
