Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property was fantastic; however a few notes before booking: I read a review about this property regarding the water not getting hot enough for showers and thought “it cannot be too bad”. Well, it can. Either the temperature needs to be adjusted on the hot water heater or it needs a new one. I would also bring sheets to cover the sofas, not very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful spacious house and great location for what we needed it for. However it was not clean. Floors were filthy and not sure house had been dusted in months. The bottom of my kids feet where black after walking through house once. The hot water was not hot, I would say only lukewarm. Very limited kitchen supplies, so if you desire to cook any while staying at house you will need to bring your own things. Limited number of towels available. Dirty couch. Found someone’s dirty underwear left in closet. Management group was not very prompt on answering questions early on in stay. Overall, for the amount of money we spent we expected much better. Pool and neighborhood were thankfully great!

Wonderful house in a great location.

Beach access is right across 30a in a private neighborhood, so the beach was not crowded at all. Great location as the house is equidistant from Seaside and The Hub. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house with plenty of room and quiet part of 30A!

The house was amazing and there was plenty of space for 7 adults. Felt like we were the only ones in the neighborhood and the pool was just across the street. Beach access was awesome and truly enjoyed our stay! Will be back!

Access to the beach was easy and the home was between Rosemary and Seaside which was quieter but easier accessible to both areas. The house needs to be restocked with kitchen items. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was good, a few snags here and there with the management company, but not the home. We loved the layout of the house & the location. Accessing the beach with only one fob was a little tricky & inconvenient for 6 people. Providing two fobs for our house that easily accomodates two families or one large group, would be ideal! The house could use a little sprucing up and additional items added to the kitchen and more than one towel per person would be nice.We did have a maintenance issue that was not fully addressed during our stay, the outside lights and the front entry lights did not properly work, every time you turned them on, a breaker blew, we were unable to use them when left after dark and that was a safety issue for our family.

2020 Family Trip

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time staying at Sea Echo. While we absolutely love this location due to short walk to the beach, gated neighborhood for kids to ride bikes, and access to the state forest, this last trip was a little frustrating. The parking pass is very unclear. We used the pass in our windshield and got a violation/threat to tow. When we called the management company before parking our car there, we were told it was fine as long as the parking pass was displayed. Apparently not, this needs to be cleared between the hoa and the management company and clearly communicated to rental guests. Also all of the access codes were differing depending on if you were using the app, the email, or the sheet provided in the rental. It was very confusing and made for some frustrating moments (hands full of kids and beach items) trying to get in and out of the pedestrian gates/beach access gate. Again, this house has a great set up, the location is awesome, and the safety of the kids being able to ride bikes in the evening is so nice, but for a few in our group the parking and gate access issues were enough to look elsewhere for our next trip. The rental could use a little sprucing up. Most of the rugs were misshapen leaving the rug grips exposed and they seemed quite stained and a bit dirty.

Very troubling

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our items were stolen. This is the second year we have stayed in this lovely house. Unfortunately some of the problems we ran into last year were not fixed and we faced new challenges. The issues began immediately when I arrived with my 87 year old Grandfather and toddler to find that the door codes provided did not work. We stood at the door on the phone for over 20 minutes while they worked to give us a new code- when that still didn’t work, they had to unlock the door through their system. I was told they would call back with the new code- they did not, so I had to call back the next day. MOST IMPORTANTLY: we had items stolen from the pool. When I reported the issue, I was told they would look into then call me back. They did not call back. I waited 48 hours before following up and was met with disinterest and no proposed solution. We also reported that the ice maker was not working. I was told they would have maintenance come out to fix it, however they did not. Issues that remained from last year- terrible Wi-fi connection and a poorly stocked kitchen. We brought things from our own kitchen to fill in the gaps and I’m glad we did. While this house is beautiful and we love the area, In over 30 years coming to this area and staying on 30A, I’ve never had something stolen from a pool. What is most troubling is the complete disregard we were faced with when reporting the theft.

Beautiful home with a nice layout and beautifully furnished. WiFi was a definite issue (they gave us the wrong code) and the connection was spotty at times. Very disappointed with the dishes/pots and pans available. They seriously need to purchase all new pots and pans as the ones that are available are disgusting. I was scared to use the big skillet because of the amount of rust. At this price point, we expect better. The dining table should at least seat 6. Adults don’t want to sit at the bar to eat.

There is a LOT of construction going on by the house, none of the passwords provided for the WiFi worked so no WiFi the whole week. Access to the beach is tricky, especially with a large group. We ended up driving to a public beach with easier access. If the construction was finished and WiFi fixed I’d go back!

Quiet Area

My family, husband, and I enjoyed our stay. Quick walk to the beach and pool. Unfortunately we did not have working internet until the 2nd to last day of our stay. I called and that was the soonest they could get someone out which was very inconvenient for us. The shower door in the 3rd floor master did not seal and because of that there was water all over the floor every time someone showered. I also think there should be 2 key fobs to the beach access, only having 1 makes things so much harder for a family where not everyone is going at the same time. Also wish there were more bath towels, only 1 per person provided. Overall, the location was great, close enough to bike to Seaside and a quick drive to Rosemary. The pool was extremely nice!! Quit neighborhood, except for the construction happening during the week. We enjoyed our stay
