Won’t be coming back

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd and final stay with Garrett/ Benchmark. Our room was not ready on time. We didn’t get into our room until close to 7. This was extremely challenging with a 1 year old. The room smelt moldy and the bottom of our feet were disgusting and dirty after walking barefoot in the unit. Also we should have been notified of the beach erosion. You advertise luxury stay.... nothing was luxury about this. Most days we had no beach due to erosion. Won’t be returning.

Great location

The condo was just as we hoped and expected. The location was great with dedicated acces to the beach and restaurants within reasonable bike/walk/drive proximity. The King bed in the master was really comfortable. One suggestion: bring a cutting board if you’ll be cooking :)

The Palms - B4

This is the first time to stay in one of the "back" buildings, but we still had a view of the beach. The place was very nicely furnished and the bed was so comfortable. The master bath shower rod was rusty and pitted and made it hard for the shower curtain to slide back and forth. The tub and shower curtain were clean - no complaints there. My husband is a HUGE coffee drinker. He was in a bad mood each morning, because if you didn't line up the pot just right, there was a tendency for a mess... Also, check out is listed at 10 a.m., but at 9:30 a.m., there were workers showing up to the different condos and setting clean linens in a pillowcase outside the doors. We had to move the bag for our unit out of the way -- because we felt so rushed, it made packing up more hectic. Plus, they were going up and down the stairs and slowed us down. We've stayed in various condos at the Palms and this is the first time they have showed up before 10 a.m. Overall though, we had a great time and the weather was beautiful.
