“It was a little difficult to find, however we made it. Loved, Loved, did I mentioned that we Loved it there. So gracious host we so loved them, so very nice and caring people. We cried to leave this beautiful area. The gardener did not speak English but was so very friendly. We Loved the dog's they had, Rottweilers so so friendly, we got some treats to give them and they showed up every morning like they knew us forever. They came to visit us in the morning while we sat on the patio.”

“We are very private people, and hate it when we rent a cabin and have any other houses within sight, to say nothing of those rentals with next door neighbors right on top of you. This gorgeous little cabin is tucked in the middle of the CR rain forest. No neighbors at all. Just hummingbirds, gorgeous butterflies and lots of other wildlife. “We stayed for six weeks in this beautiful mountainside property. It was exactly what we wanted - restful and relaxing. The property is at the top of a steep hill and is somewhat isolated so a car is required. We did not intend to travel around very much and were happy to take up Vera's offer to rent their car now and again. It worked very well for us. “This is a lovely clean home in a quintessential Tico neighborhood with secure off street parking. Very safe in a very tasteful way. Prettiest bathroom I've seen in Costa Rica. A couple of fans would have been nice in the afternoon. But we had perfect weather so it wasn't too bad really. The location was a challenge at first but then proved to be ideal. I would stay here again.”

“It's a nice house about halfway up one of the mountain roads, but contrary to what you might expect, it isn't really secluded. There are plenty of neighbors and their dogs all around. Overall, it's a fantastic house for the price, and can hold 5-6 people comfortably. The view is fantastic! However, just be aware you absolutely need a 4wd car to get up the disintegrated half pavement half dirt road. While this is a good house, and lots of space for the price, there are some ways where the house……

“Great property. This is an old, rambling house set like a grand matron in a beautiful park-like setting. The house is 'venerable', and in need of updates and cleaning. But it's rustic and open to nature. It's huge with 5 different bedrooms and lots of beds. About an hour away from SJ Airport, and downtown SJ, and some sites. But 3 or more hours away from major attractions. So great for large family/friends get togethers, but not necessarily for CR's touristy hot spots.”

We had two dinners at the farm next store and they were delicious! A lovely stay and my only wish is we had more time. Ricardo was super friendly and very helpful.
