“Property was in a great location, clean, welcoming, and a bargain. Slightly difficult to find the first time then was easy sailing. Communication from host was top notch. Only difficulty i experienced was adjusting to the height of ceilings. I struck my head routinely on the sloped ceilings, between rooms, and especially bathroom. I am approximately 71.5 inches/182cm for reference. My daughter at 63 inches/160cm was fine. All in all we enjoyed our stay!”

“Lovely apartment with great views and a good location for exploring Madeira. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking, and there was a small charcoal BBQ to use. There is also a small local bar a short walk up the road for groceries or a beer/poncha without needing to drive.”

“Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison à Madère. Le logement est globalement bien situé, ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement et de profiter des environs. L’humidité est assez présente, comme souvent sur l’île, mais cela reste tout à fait gérable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le fait que le linge de lit et de bain soit changé durant le séjour, ce qui est un vrai plus dans ces conditions où le séchage peut être compliqué. La maison est plutôt bien équipée, même si……

“A very peaceful location with great proximity to the airport and near a pleasant village. It is a tidy and compact cottage that was perfect for our family and Patricia was very helpful. It was pleasant to sit outside the cottage and enjoy the lush greenery. It's best not to let kids wander up the driveway toward the main house as there are large guard dogs that can surprise you.”

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Nun’s Village (Curral das Freiras), surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We also enjoyed hiking the nearby Nun’s Village Path, which offered breathtaking views of the village and surrounding mountains. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful location!”
