Huge house, with a nice pool and an attentive host to sort problems. We had a lovely family holiday but a few issues need pointing out. The kitchen is very small for such a large house. It does need a sort out and a deep clean. The area around the pool is breaking up in places and is and a hazard with young kids running around. The positives far outweigh the negatives and I'm highlighting these points as areas to improve rather than complaints.

Golden wedding anniversary in Burgundy

The house and lovely shady park suited us very well as the weather was very hot. However the kitchen was far too small and inconvenient for a large number of people. We had problems with the pool, the water turned green and the cover jammed. These problems were dealt with very quickly by the manager.

Inconvenient Le four electrique ne fonctionnait pas donc difficile pour le gigot de pâques ainsi que pour la cuisdon des gougères en autre Que nous avons du remporter Il a fallu improviser de nouveaux repas pas simple pour 21 personnes en ce weekend de Pâques Il fallait aussi relaver les ustensiles de cuisine voir même nettoyer les placards

Grande maison pour groupe important

Beaucoup de couchages, cuisine assez bien équipée, vaste salle à manger et table en conséquence (avec l'ajout de 2 petites tables de la véranda, on a pu manger à 18 personnes). Beau parc bien arboré. J'imagine que l'été, cette maison est encore plus agréable.

Je commencerai par les moins pour finir sur une note positive ! Les moins : Les tables extérieures et les chaises (dont certaines en mauvais état) mériteraient un bon coup de ponçage et d'huilage. Nous avons acheté une toile cirée pour nous protéger des lichens et autres fientes d'oiseaux. Nous les avons lavées (tables) avant de partir. Quant aux chaise d'appoint, elles sont un peu trop basses. Les douches et toilettes mériteraient un bon coup d'anticalcaire. Il n'y avait que 3 chaises longues utilisables sur 6 (pour 18 personnes ?!) autour de la piscine (faire attention au dallage qui l'entoure, certaines dalles sont cassées). 8 transat ont été livrés l'après-midi veille de notre départ !!! Tant mieux pour les suivants... Les plus : Frédérique ! La personne qui gère la propriété et nous a reçu aimablement et avec un grand sourire. Sa gentillesse et sa réactivité nous ont permis d'avoir deux chaises longues provenant de chez elle dès le lendemain de notre arrivée. La literie est impeccable. Le parc est vaste. Nous avons eu la compagnie de deux écureuils chaque matin pour le petit-déjeuner. Les vignobles et les alentours sont un vrai bonheur pour les balades. Ceci dit nous avons passé une belle semaine.
