The properly in quite location, super clean, there is a outdoor jacuzzi on the root top - You can able to view the ocean from the root top. Every morning, the host bring a warm and delicious breakfast to your room. Feel like home.

We had a wonderful stay at Aval. Panos gave us great restaurant recommendations and the cataraman cruise he suggested was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day!

This was such a gem. The area is residential, but the hotel was immaculate, the staff was so kind and helpful, and the room breakfast was honestly one of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to return.

We had an amazing time at Aval on our mini moon. The suite was incredible, the pool was gorgeous and the breakfast was incredible. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat. They can’t do enough for you and helped up book lots of restaurants and a boat cruise - massive thank you to the whole team!

Perfect place for a perfect island ! Well located (5mins from the airport and 10mins from fira). You are in the middle of Santorini. Breakfast are incredible. You can also enjoy a cocktail next to the pool whenever you want. Thanks to the entire team from for making our stay perfect !

A clean and quiet new hotel close to the airport. Nice pool and individual hot tub on the balcony. Full hot Breakfast delivered right to the door. Only wish is that they send a car to pick us up at the airport. It’s only a 5 minute drive away, but cost 25 Euros to take a taxi.

Father and son were very helpful. The free breakfast prepared for you and served in your room at the time we arranged was better than any hotel or fancy eatery we had ever been in. More impressive, was that the next day you were served different items. The robe and slippers and hot tub made this a hard place to check-out of!!!!

The property was really good. The best thing about it were the staff. They were always smiling, willing to lend a hand and very friendly. The breakfast, which is served in your room each day, is fantastic and a real treat! There is some TLC required around the hot tub in the room just to make it look a bit more appeasing. The area where the property is isn’t the best as there are only a few restaurants but it’s a great base for the wider island. Overall a very good stay. Thank you

Hidden Gem in Santorini

The service is exceptional, the accommodations are very clean and beautifully decorated, we had a private pool which we used every day during our stay. The poolside bar makes the best drinks on the island based on our experience. The owner helped book transfers and excursions with ease. We always were in good hands when we booked through Aval, and we managed to explore lots of spots we wouldn’t have known about thanks to the owners tips. The breakfast each morning was out of this world! Love the quiet escape that Aval provides, while still being 15 minute drive to Oia and Fira! Highly recommend

This hotel was top-notch! We had a family trip planned for 8 people and stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived there was a big hiccup due to Expedia's platform, and the owner, Dimitris, was very understanding and made sure we got it worked out before he did anything, like have to charge us extra. It's tucked away from the overly tourist-filled spots like Fira and Oia. Exactly what the doctor ordered if you're looking for a quiet place to come back home to in Santorini. With that said, the rooms with private pools are spectacular, it feels like home. We had the best time having Aval as our homebase while exploring Santorini and other islands. Along with that, Dimitris helped us make reservations and have seats at restaurants that made unforgettable moments for our family -- everyone with a view. Even still, the food at Aval is delicious and feels homemade. I can't say enough good things about Aval and I can't wait to return to stay and see the folks there again.

Charming Family-run Hideaway

This is a father-and-son duo operation and it shows with the care and passion put into developing a really beautiful little hotel of villas. Dimitris and his father are a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The property is a collection of little villas clustered around the pool and reception building, ours was a stunning 2 floor one with balconies, private tub, kitchenette and cool rain shower designed like a cave. We never used the main pool or bar but both looked very nice. We were brought a delicious breakfast to our room each morning which they were happy to alter for our dietary needs. Be aware the location is a little removed from the main tourist areas in the town of Messaria. There is a public bus 5-10 min from the property but you will need to organise transfers to get to/from most places which is not cheap on Santorini. Choose activities which offer pickup/dropoff
