A 1950's traditional house builted under the venetian castle of Akrotiri in the center of the village. The interior design is traditional too with old rebuild furniture of my grandparents. Close by (2min by foot) you can find a bus stop, a mini market place, a lot of restaurants and a small coffee bar with traditional snacks and drinks. In about 2km (20min by foot) you can find the excavations of Akrotiri and the famous Red Beach.

Good choice
We loved the location of this property and it had everything we needed. It kept cool even with the a/c off a lot of the time. Except for a bit of a mix up with our pick up from the airport, Akis was a very good and attentive host. Thank you very much. In August the local shop was open 8 - 22 everyday.

Fantastic host, really super helpful. Property extremely clean and authentic! Really interesting history to both the house and the area. Ideal for those wanting a peaceful location away from the horrendous crowds at Oia. Fabulous restaurants to eat at in the nearby harbour which we walked down to and grabbed a bus back. The little village also had good bus service, mini market which was well stocked and a choice of nice restaurants. Everyone we met was really helpful and kind, lovely with our children. We loved it!! It was rustic and charming.

Quaint and convenient
Fun location, away from the crowd. Nice short walk to yummy restaurants and bus stop. Drank coffee and watched the sunrise on the roof every morning. Owner is very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great typical cycladic nest!
Charming nest with air con,small patio with separate kitchen and roof terrace,very clean and comfy,Akis answers very fast to any questions and is very helpful. A bunch of good restaurants and pharmacy at the corner of the street ,great location !we would love to come back (family of 4,with two teen agers)
