The friendliness of the host Katya and the persons in charge of the restaurant make such a good difference, we were very well treated. Make sure you dedicate plenty of time to enjoy the place Our room was pristine cleaned, amenities were of very good quality, the linens and the room in general smelled amazing, everything is very well decorated with very good taste, Those are the details that makes……

“Casa do Monte, Marcus, Rosa and staff truly gave us the best 4 days of our lives. When planning our wedding we were looking for a place in the Douro Valley that could serve as our wedding venue for 35 people AND a place to stay for all 13 of our friends. After reading reviews of the property and how helpful the host was - we decided to book. It turned out to be the absolute best decision.From the start Marcus was communicative and invaluably helpful in planning our day. He was able to help us……

“This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help……

“Everything about this spot was wonderful! The views are spectacular, we felt like we were living in a postcard. The house was so clean and cozy. Giselle was so easy to communicate with - the driving instructions were very complete, and she checked in during our stay. There was even a bottle of port and some cookies when we arrived. 10/10!!”
