"Look overall the place was quaint. I had no real problems. The place just felt tired. Ok for a single night stay I wouldn't want to be there much longer than that."

"Start with parking - terrible experience as there was very limited parking as like two spots available if you are lucky as the rest is taken up by residents then you went out to an open unsealed carpark that at night was up a hill and uneven and not lit up at night. Wi Fi late evening is non existent with continual drop outs very frustrating. When coming into the place enter at daylight as at night the signage is not lit up and has very poor lighting around this compound as it is both a golf club and hotel complex and there is different buildings that they have hotel guests in very frustrating"

"Staff are lovely, location isn’t too bad. My only complaint is unfortunately the noise from other guests. Cannot confirm 100% but the multiple times I have stayed there it seems as if they have semi permanent residents and the rooms being used as a halfway house who constantly scream and drink out the front of the rooms until all hours of the morning."

"The bedsit was very tidy and equipped with all the basic accessories you might need.However, there is no kitchenette sink, which means dishes and glasses must be washed in the same room as the toilet. This wasn’t mentioned in the listing nor visible in the photos. As a result I chose not to use the provided crockery or utensils.The location of the bedsit is excellent. The garden is lovely and the hosts’ dogs are very sweet. The driveway is steeper than expected, even after reading previous reviews, which makes dropping luggage at the bedsit challenging. Parking is meant to be on the verge, but the host asks that you don’t park on the verge directly outside the accommodation. This means carrying luggage further and left me concerned about inconveniencing neighbours or risking a parking ticket.The bedroom curtains and lounge blinds don’t provide full block‑out or complete privacy. If privacy is important to you, you may need to stay fully dressed when moving between the bedroom and bathroom. For sleeping, a clip or peg would help keep the opaque curtains closed around the sheer ones, but I didn’t have one available.The host also asks to meet you on arrival and for your guest’s name. This felt a little unexpected for me, but not something I’d consider negative on its own.Overall, my main concerns were the lack of a separate and hygienic dish‑washing area, limited privacy due to the window coverings, and needing to park on someone else’s verge."
