The Hotel, as the name implies, is close to many sights, and is literally next to the Old Town. There are many great restaurants nearby, including BarSa and Tapas Bar and Restaurant. There was a variety of hot and cold items on the breakfast buffet. The staff that we dealt with were awesome, especially Diana and Ivan, who were very helpful. They were awesome!

Excellent Location

True to its name, Hotel Central is right in the heart of the old town. All the sights, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable if a little small. Great bed, plenty of tea/coffee and storage space. Ensuite was modern and clean, shower sprays at a bit of an odd angle though which floods the bathroom every time. All in all a solid choice for Sarajevo.

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. It is located near the Old Town, shopping, and numerous restaurants. The staff is warm and welcoming, daily room service was efficient, and my room was spotless. Because I was on a working vacation, I chose a suite, and the room had dining and living space, as well as an excellent work area with multiple outlets nearby. It was easy to keep my electronic equipment charged. Sarajevo was a fascinating city and I hope to visit it again. When I do, I would definitely stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but I wish the hot foods were kept hotter.

Pleasant in a good location

A very pleasant hotel in the old town. Comfortable rooms, but very limited view from the window is the only downside. Fantastic pool in this hotel.

As the name says is in the center of old Sarajevo. Great food and the markets were nice. Near the site where Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand was assassin are on 1914 which led to WWI

Staff were welcoming and helpful, room was big and well-appointed, there was a good range of tasty options on the buffet breakfast, the pool was large for a hotel (c25m long) and not too busy, and had sauna, steam room and caldarium, and the location was walkable to all the main sites in the city centre and had a taxi rank outside with cabs readily available most times of day.

Perfect stay.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel central, the rooms are very clean and really warm. You can’t hear any noise from outside. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is really good. Central to everything. We will be back in the summer.
