A great place to stay when visiting the Adirondacks! It's centrally located, so it's perfect for day trips. It's quiet and on the lake. Hearing the loons call in the middle of the night was an experience, as we didn't know what animal that sound was coming from!
The loft was more than enough for my lovely wife and I. It was clean and has everything you'll need for your stay. There is a washer and dryer, a well-stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses, and all manner of cookware. The bathroom is full size with lots of towels. The baseboard heat worked fine for the chilly June mornings. I don't know if there is AC, as the ceiling fans and open windows kept the place the perfect temperture. The couch, which turns into a sleeper bed, is ok. Not the most comfortable, but not the worst. We're used to recliners, so that feature was missed. There's just the two-cushion couch and a couple of chairs for the table. We made it work, though. If there's more than two people who want to sit down and relax, that may be an issue. Or not!
The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was ample with extra comforters if needed. There's a lot of closet space, but bring your own hangers. There aren't any to hang up your clothes. Additionally, you'll be living out of your suitcase, as there are no dresser drawers.
The owners were great to work with. They live on property in the main house, and were friendly and pretty much left us alone. Overall, a high-quality place to stay and highly recommended!
