"It looks nothing like the picture. It is extremely rundown. The toilet in the bathroom was disgusting. We walked in and we walked out. There’s no way we ever would have stayed in a place like that. It is much smaller than it appears in the picture."

"The apartment is beautiful and spacious, very well appointed and maintained. It’s located in the old city center with wonderful restaurants, bistros, shops, patisseries all around…and the famous geese sculpture is just outside! Free parking only a few minutes walk. Sarlat is a perfect central location for day trips to nearby Dordogne villages and many prehistoric sites. The local contact was most helpful with check in and other information. We highly recommend this property…5 stars!"

"Our stay started with Allison meeting us at the car park to escort us and our bags to the property. Before that, we were provided with proactive and informative information from Allison. The property was as described —beautiful, located in the heart of the action, with everything we needed. The car park was close, so access was easy. Cannot say enough about how perfect everything was, finishing with being escorted back to the car park with our luggage. Amazing!"

"Had an extended summer stay in Sarlat while we were relocating. Fantastic experience! Hosts were extremely attentive and delightfully friendly despite our very broken French. Location is perfect with everything you could need very close by, the apartment is basically right on the town walls. Nice apartment with everything you could need, yes a few stairs, but really not a hassle, need to walk off the delicious pastries anyway!"

"This appartment is extremely well located near Sarlat and within the vicinity of many interesting places. Friendly, discrete hosts that were at our service when needed: we missed a hairdryer (which was mentioned in the house description) and they immediately solved that. Appartment was very cool which was welcome with day temperatures of +35°C. Only downside: the appartment is very damp (known to the hosts) and the mechanical ventilation does not entirely solve this."
