Cozy Saugatuck Home

This home in Saugatuck was cozy for our family and small dog. We were thankful it was available on such short notice and the owners had it cleaned and ready for us when we arrived. It is so close to downtown Saugatuck and the Douglas area. As well to Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dune State park for our beach days. We had a nice vacation for the week.

Great Stay

Overall a great stay! Any issues were resolved promptly. The place is decorated so cute and equipped with everything we needed. This unit is attached to another unit, at times you could hear the other guests in the unit next door but it was never terrible by any means.

Clean and tidy

There were 6 of us staying for 2 nights for a wedding. The pullout couch and beds were comfortable enough for us all.We didn’t use too many kitchen supplies but there was plenty.It’s about a mile from town, 20 minute walk. Not terrible but the initial circle area on the map made it seem closer to town. There’s a great breakfast place on the other side of the neighborhood within a close walk.Check in and out times are very strict.

Nice looking place. Title of listing is misleading. This is a DUPLEX not a standalone 2-bedroom house. We could hear normal conversation from the neighbor through the wall in the king bedroom, so we slept in the queen bedroom for more distance and hopeful privacy on our anniversary trip. Owner is very friendly and will look into the suggestions made.

The entry porch is completely rotted through. My dog's leg went through a hole in the porch. A very dangerous situation and not a great welcome. The entry key pad does not work properly (it may need new batteries). Had to enter code 3-4 times before it would unlock. Host was not available for assist. VM on phone number listed full. Expedia's email system was inaccessible. If neighboring unit was watching TV you can't "too many devices". Not really walkable to downtown. Road work and lack of sidewalks makes it unwalkable to town(not owner's fault). It did have new and clean appliances, plenty of towels, and the A/C was great. I think with some owner TLC it could be a great unit.

Very clean and comfortable. Well decorated. Bedding nice. Needs hooks in bathroom for towels. Light bulbs in bathroom and outdoor entry way. Need more kitchen towels. Add a small table in second bedroom near mirror to assist in getting ready. Description needs to include entrance to property is a small rock road. Keyless entry was not functioning correctly however the owner immediately responded to call for assistance. Overall very pleased and highly recommend!
