The large picture window in the living room, makes it very easy to watch the freighters and other boat traffic go by. Plus! If you have your own boat, there is a marina less than 1/4 mile away!
Other attractions less than 5 miles away are the Kewadin Casino, Clyde's Drive-In, Birdseye Outfitters, The Tower of History, Valley Camp Museum and the Soo Locks Boat Tours!

Amazing place especially if you like ships! Could not have been in a better location to see freighters going down the river. Plenty of space inside the house too! Would definitely stay again!

The living room with lots of comfortable seating and an amazing view was our favorite space! The river was beautiful at all times of day and it was so cool to see the freighters going by, early morning in the fog was my favorite. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few snacks in the washer and dryer were easy to use. The property is just the right distance outside of town, close and convenient, but still a little removed, slice of peaceful paradise on the river. We have a child in college in Sault Ste. Marie and definitely plan to come back to this property!

Wonderful home right on the St. Mary River, so we saw freighters go by on their way to the Soo Locks. Clean, organized, and tidy. The only thing we did not like was the small human size furry wolf in the corner of the kitchen as you walked in the door. Very creepy! We put him in the closet during our stay. Inside very clean but outside of house had lots of spiders and webs, only reason for reduced stars on cleanliness. Enjoyed our stay! Very convenient to Soo Locks and Agawa Canyon Train trip.

We loved it, great location on the river. Saw several freighters. Beautifully decorated. Very cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We definitely will do it again next year for our fall conference.

My family and I visit every year. This is by far the best stay yet. Freighters not far from the back door. Not in the city but close enough to be very convenient. Very homey, comfortable. The only negative, some of the towels in the bathroom could be replaced. They were really thin. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place near the river. The location was peaceful and offered beautiful views, making it a perfect spot to relax. One of the highlights was watching the freighters and other boats pass by—it was surprisingly fun and added a unique touch to our visit. We found ourselves frequently checking the marine traffic app to see when the next vessel would come through, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves being close to the water and watching river traffic!

Everything was as described. Freighters were frequent and fun to watch (down load Marine Traffic app.) Town was close and plenty of choices to eat. Great time was had.

Excellent house on the St Mary’s River, saw many freighters go by. Location is excellent as it is close to downtown also for great restaurants and the locks. Spotless house, well-cared for. Would like to return again.host is very good at communicating.Highly recommend.

Our stay was way too short!! One week was not enough!!If you're a Boatnerd you'll love watching all the Lake Freighters, Coast Guard Vessels and others going by. The house was well equipped for cooking in and the beds and living areas very comfortable. The Soo Locks are less than 4 miles away as is the shopping district for souvenirs and a cup of your favorite coffee or a meal. Thanks for the privilege of staying in this beautiful home.
