STUNNING CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER FRONTAGE W/ YEAR ROUND RIVER VIEWS ON 2 PLUS ACRES...
This 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 2400 square foot, three story home available to provide you with some much-deserved mountain relaxation. The stunning home is situated perfectly on a 2 acre wooded land providing you with the privacy you need and River Access for Fishing. WIth over 230ft of River Frontage of which is home to bass, as well as rainbow trout (state stocked just north of here), providing excellent fishing opportunities.
Inside the home, you’ll find the upper level includes two bedrooms (one with king, one with full and twin) each with cable tv. There is also a bathroom featuring a claw foot soaking tub and walk-in tile shower. The main level offers a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, eating area, living room with a stacked stone fireplace topped with a large screen tv, a full bathroom, a bedroom (with queen bed), and a laundry room. The downstairs level includes 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with two twins), a full bath, and a living area that includes a pool table and large screen tv. This level also features a beautiful paved back patio with a sitting area overlooking the peaceful river. Cable tv and wifi are included throughout the house. Multiple outdoor areas are available for your enjoyment including a large wood deck, hot-tub, screened-in porch, and a deck down on the river’s edge. This home is also located just off the Wine Highway with 2 wineries (Serenity Cellars and Yonah Mountain Vineyards) within a few minutes drive time. Also, the quaint German town of Helen is about 10 minutes beyond that. Grocery stores and great restaurants are only a short drive away. There are also white water rapids, hiking trails and zip-lining for the sports enthusiasts all nearby. Come make new memories on the beautiful Chattahoochee River and discover the area's spectacular offerings from wine tasting, fine dining, sports activities and more!

Views are fabulous, having a screened in porch is great and they have a large whiteboard on the wall so the porch is also a great game place for Pictionary etc.. It was fine for us as is only rained a little bit but the road from main highway to the house is not paved so it can be an issue with a low vehicle and the road does circle around back to the highway but you Do Not want to enter the road from the other side, not maintained like the main entrance. But a FABULOUS place!!

I am so disappointed in this experience. The day of our arrival, the property manager would not give us the code to enter after check-in. After calling, texting, and emailing multiple times, I had to wait numerous hours before she responded. We began looking for other options since we had no place to stay, which was incredibly stressful. Additionally, the property manager explained to me that the cleaning crew was going to be present at our arrival. She explained this was due to another party leaving the SAME DAY. None of our sheets were washed, it was incredibly awkward to wait for the crew to leave (but they were very nice), and to understand that a party stayed on the property just a few hours before we got there. We decided on this booking since it explicitly said there was a day between guests, considering the pandemic. So, that was a lie. The property has numerous issues, such as broken lock boxes and other things, as well as cameras all over the place without informing guests. If after reading this, you still decide to stay here, I say good luck. You’ll need it.

Main purpose of trip was visiting Helen and returning to a quiet place to stay . This was meet. House was nice and we had no issues with the house. Very pretty location with a wooded and water view. Only improvement I can see is maybe a stairway down to water. Otherwise would rent again . Oh and wish we would have stayed longer.

The house is extremely comfortable with lots of beds. The kitchen is well stocked. You can tube from your access point on the river down to the bridge - a 1.5 to 2 hour trip. There's a pool table, hot tub, and lots of places to sit and have family time. We had one minor issue, called the owner, and she had it fixed lickety split.

House is as described in listing. Spacious and comfortable and beautiful views. Loved hearing the bubbling river. Helen was much more crowded than expected but it is a very cute town. River House was a great choice.

My entire family of 8 greatly enjoyed the River House for a special Christmas vacation together. We traveled from NJ, Toronto and GA to all spend Christmas together. The house was great and decorated cute for the Holidays. We ate all meals together and the kitchen fully stocked with all the supplies we needed. Evenings were spent by the fire or in the Hot Tub and mornings were spent watching the sun rise on the screen porch. The kids loved having Echo in their game room and the adults enjoyed the extra sleeping space to spread out. The property is absolutely beautiful and the owners were super helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this home to any family looking for a beautiful retreat. We hope to come back soon!

This home was just perfect for our group of 10 girls! Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, the views and sounds of the river were so relaxing. Echo audio system was perfect because no one needed to bring a play list of music! The wine tour we did was familiar with the location which made for an easy pick up. the fireplace we couldn't get to work, but likely user error :). the owners were very responsive and helpful to try and help us get it on. It did not spoil our fun and the hot tub was the NICEST one we all had ever been in. So clean and big!! We are definite repeat customers, only might bring our husbands to help us with fireplace next time :). Thank you Amanda (and your husband) for all the help and advice with making our weekend such a relaxing success. Shawna
