Peaceful cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed the way the house was nestled in the woods. Very peaceful! We loved the large rooms, pool table and hot tub. The living room was arranged well for visiting. Easy, ample parking. I had to call the property manager for the door code when arriving late. They were very responsive and helpful. The house is near Helen GA and many waterfall and hiking trails.

This cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy Helen, Georgia and the surrounding areas. we stayed four nights and enjoyed every moment of it.

AWESOME

The house was perfect. Lots of room, clean, and excellent location. It was peaceful and close to a lot of great hikes and Helen. I recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful cabin

It was a short stay for us but it was nice quiet and relaxing. Close to Helen which we drove in for Labor Day. The cabin was beautiful. The bed a little too firm. Overall is nice

The trip was great

Cabin was clean and nice plenty of room for family of 6. Only complaint is the ice maker and water did not work on the refrigerator. The road and driveway is really in bad shape but not a complaint due to this was told in description of the cabin. I would certainly return for another vacation.

Misleading photos and description online

We were sent wrong lockbox code so it took awhile to get in as we had to wait for the maintenance person to come reset the code. Cabin was listed with 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 2 futons but did not have the 2 queen beds (I have screen shots of the listing). Cabin no longer has leather couches from images or written description. Cabin no longer has the farmhouse dining table from images. Front porch lights did not work. Hot tub lights did not work. 2 closet lights did not work. Oven light did not work. Hallway light flickered like we were in a haunted house. Master bathroom tub/shower did not work. I reached out several times and the area manager informed me that they don’t always have time to update listings and that cabin photos do not necessarily have to match what is actually there. I have never heard of an excuse as this before. And it is not fair for a leather couch to be replaced with a poorly slipcovered sofa. Also, the dresser in the master had a large hole in it. This cabin did have clean sheets and clean towels. But there were spider webs on the light fixtures inside. Also the screen on the porch was ripped in many places. I would not want to return to this cabin again. The listing is very misleading.

Overall the cabin was peaceful and lovely.Few things were obvious shortcomings:Showerheads where a horror, expect high pressure/low flow but that was downright painfull. The only provision in the kitchen was salt, was expecting basic spices salt, pepper, sugar, oil, maybe enough coffee for the 1st morning.There were no instructions for trash, found previous guests dumped trash in the woods behind the cabin! No instructions for how to leave the cabin as fast as linens. One wine glass, that we broke in accident, it's a wine region, why one wine glass?WE LOVED THE CABIN. The location the quiet, the space, otherwise amazing.

A Homey Cabin

My family and I were searching for a get away place from the craziness of Orlando FL and we found it in this beautiful, cozy place. We enjoyed and wished to have reserved for more days. Ok Stay

The home was nice. During the night you can hear squirrels or mice in the walls and ceilings. Chewing. The main shower doesn’t get hot water. On the back deck we seen several squirrels, wild chicken, and deer.

Everything was fine til a squirrel clawed/chewed through ceiling and came into cabin. Basically we were on our own to find it ans remove it.and

Weekend stay

Our stay in the cabin was great. I would have given the cabin 5 stars except the cabin stays very cold inbthe living area a kitchen but too hot in the bedrooms to sleep. The beds were very too hard to sleep. Also if someone is upstairs playing pooling and you're downstairs trying to sleep, you can hear every little noise from upstairs.

Great getaway

The leaves are at peak this week (late October) and we have enjoyed watching them fall all around us in the living room from the large windows. We felt very safe here. The beds were comfortable and we found the cabin very spacious! We enjoyed having our own bathroom and deep closet - it made life much easier with an infant sleeping in a pack n' play. Our 4 year old loved playing with his trucks upstairs while grown ups had quiet time downstairs. The water pressure was actually a bit high in the showers, but not sure you can do much about that? Our only other complaints are that we found a pair of tennis shoes from previous guests and a dog treat under one of the beds and two of the kitchen table chairs have wobbly legs on the front right leg. Otherwise, The furniture was comfortable and looked new. You can't tell this is a "dog friendly" cabin with how clean everything was, including the carpets, linens, and blankets. The hot tub was fantastic - clean, hot, and relaxing. The screened in porch ensured no bugs. We enjoyed it daily! We grilled steaks and potatoes one night and found the grill clean and easy to use. Overall, a great experience! We hope to rent again - thank you!

Not good

Cabin was beautiful but the name of it was very misleading. Majestic View was wrong. Just a lot of trees. I drove 8 hours to be in the mountains with a view but was not happy. The first night was quite chilly inside. The floor was uneven and some tiles were loose. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I cant see how anyone would want to drive over the potholes and rocks to get to this place. The only thing that I enjoyed was watching television.
