Girl's Trip

This charming unit is in the Historic District of Savannah. The location couldn't be better. It is very walkable to everything. Communication was great, and the check in and out process was very simple. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place and location

Location was amazing. Some maintenance issues such as broken ice maker, toilet that did not always shut off, shower water did not get hot.

Lovely Spot for a Long Weekend

The Wedding in Savannah

We had an amazing stay at the Abercorn house. Excellent location for our trip to our nephews wedding. The house was very comfortable and charming. The rental staff was top notch and helped us out greatly. Would recommend this place and property management company.

Great Space and Great Location!

Great house. Very spacious, nice safe neighborhood and within walking distance to a lot of places. Very clean and beds were super comfortable. Shower floor tile in master bedroom needs to be fixed and water pressure in that shower wasn’t the best but otherwise it was the perfect spot at a great price!

The best location!

We loved our Savannah vacation, and this was the perfectly located place to stay. We loved being able to walk everywhere! The apartment was clean, bright, and spacious. The pool was a big perk! But be sure to go early if you have kids…it got a bit rowdy after 3pm or so. The only reason for the four stars is because of the noise level. We had a noisy family above us (which is also a rental unit) and we could hear everything they did. It’s an old building so that’s to be expected, but I think it’s helpful to point out in case you’re looking for a quieter stay. Overall, our whole family enjoyed our stay!

Great location and size for family of 4

Property was clean and very well located. We did have a small issue with the washing machine not working (found out the water had been turned off). Maintenance fixed it the next day, however, I had to keep calling to get a status update throughout the day. The master bathroom, could use shelving, hooks, and/or a towel rack to place or hang toiletries. There was no where to place items in that bathroom. This was a minor inconvenience during our stay. We enjoyed this properties location and found it easy to walk to most things we wanted to see and do.

Excellent Location!

Family girl’s trip with ages from 28-80 coming to Savannah for first time for 4 nights. Communication with Property Manager was excellent. Was continually updated with check-in procedures, needs, wants, etc. Loved how smooth the process was. Location of unit is great! We were able to walk to just about everything in Savannah and felt safe. Apartment itself is sufficient for a short stay and was equipped with bare necessities such as glasses, utensils, towels, two tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner per bathroom, etc. Beds were soft, and 100% cotton linens were clean, comfortable, and appreciated! AC worked well! Apartment could definitely use refreshing as there was a lot of peeling paint, missing pictures (with nails/hooks still in walls), loose floorboards, doors that couldn’t shut properly, faucet hardware in bathrooms/showers that were loose and in need of repair, a very old couch that definitely needed to be replaced because the springs had sprung, etc. I realize apartment is very old and the unit is a full-time rental, but many of the items mentioned just needed a simple fix. Surfaces were all clean, but unit definitely needed a deep clean. Windows and sills were very dirty, as were baseboards. Pool located on Tybee Island in no way is “resort-style” as listed on VRBO description and should be rephrased with a more accurate description. See Google Earth for pics. All in all, we still really liked the property and would definitely recommend it to others!

Location Location Location!

We had a wonderful three day stay here! It was clean & comfortable & had all the comforts of home. We couldn’t have had a better location to navigate around Savannah. We didn’t have a car but there is so much to see & do within walking distance. We also walked to many of the local restaurants as well! We took the trolley to make the most of our time & to see some of the sites that were a little further away. We highly recommend going down to the riverfront & going into the JW Marriott Hotel. It’s absolutely fabulous! The lobby area is open to the public & it’s amazing! Afterwards you should walk down the waterfront & enjoy the many shops & restaurants. Savannah should be on everyone’s bucket list!

Great location, OK property

Great location! House overall is *fine*.. but furniture and walls are peeling, pillows super uncomfortable, bathrooms are falling apart, and they give you very little soap/toilet paper, etc... and then tell you they are just providing "starter packs" and if you need more, you have to go buy. not even enough for the people in the house for 2 nights! Also.. they give you access to a pool.. but then at the pool they do not provide pool towels! Again, house is fine and communication with property management was quick, but very much felt like you were one customer in a sea of hundreds that they were dealing with. Also, I did not realize this was a two-home property so you don't know who will have access with you via the front door. And we thought it was funny, but heads up that all of the ghost tours walk past this house so you will see and hear a steady stream of people outside the front window.

The apartment is ideally situated, and was fairly easy for my 91 year old mother to get around in. There are a few steps into the property and slightly uneven flooring (it looks original!). Quiet after 9ish and really lovely to hear the horses clopping down the street,

New Year’s in Savannah

Great property and location. Very comfortable for our group of six. There really needs to be another couch in the living room, but I highly recommend this property. We could walk everywhere and it was in a safe area. Communication with property management was immediate. We were able to get free parking spaces on Abercorn and Charlton Streets.We loved it!
