Loved the stay. The unit was super clean and just beautiful. The location was perfect. absolutely. The only complaint is that the electronic door lock was very difficult to lock. unlocked just fine.

Overall, we had a good stay at Black Swan. The apartment was nice, the location is fantastic, and the staff was very responsive whenever we needed anything. A few things to be aware of: the elevators were not working during our stay, so we had to carry all of our luggage up the stairs. Parking is not on site—you’ll need to park in a garage a few blocks away and carry your luggage through the busy downtown streets. Most of the outlets in the living room and kitchen also didn’t work. Since you’re right in the heart of downtown Savannah, it can be loud at night, but the white noise machine provided in the main bedroom was a thoughtful touch that helped. Despite a few inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

This was a great alternative to a hotel. An apartment with great space and an industrial chic vibe. We loved having a space to hang out and relax at the end of the day. And the location was great, right in the middle of everything and easy walking to everything near and off the river. We'll stay here again when we are back.

I really liked staying here. Loved the high ceilings and exposed brick. The location was unbeatable. I didn't have a car so didn't worry about parking. It was spotless. The one thing I did not like was being in a unit facing the ally. Nonstop noise interruptions between 3 and 8 am. Like loud alarm clocks going off. When I rebook I'll request an odd number unit instead of even.

The cost of the hotel was very reasonable for the size of the unit. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. The beds were pretty comfortable. The only thing I would nitpick about the hotel are the pillows, they were too soft for us. Even after stacking them, our heads would pretty much be on the mattress after a few hours. Overall the hotel was great, I would just suggest bringing along a pillow you like (if possible).

We stayed in a 3BR/3BA two‑story loft at The Grant by Black Swan, and it was absolutely incredible. We originally booked a 2BR, but while we were en route to Savannah, The Grant reached out and offered an upgrade for a flat fee — and it was worth every penny.The space was beautifully appointed and stocked with everything we needed: coffee and creamer, laundry pods, dish tabs, trash bags — all the little things that make it feel like a home, not a hotel. My in‑laws traveled with us, and even they were blown away. Every time I communicated with management, they responded quickly and were genuinely attentive. The entire experience felt first‑class from start to finish.We’ll absolutely stay here again on future Savannah trips, and I’ll be checking Black Swan properties in other cities from now on. They’ve earned a loyal guest.

I absolutely loved this property. I loved that it was right on one of the main streets, lots of restaurants around. The parking was annoying because there is no specific parking for the building so we had to pay $50 for 7pm-7am and then move the car to another place. People complained about the noise but i honestly did not hear much noice and the little noise there was did not bother us.

Great spot! It was very clean and updated, though a distinct odor lingered throughout our stay. We believe this was due to the exposed brick and original walls in the suite, but it was something we could easily tolerate. The area is excellent, with plenty to see and do. Check-in was straightforward, but the messaging through Expedia, email, and text proved a bit confusing—though we eventually figured it out. I also wasn’t sure how to contact the owner if something went wrong or if we needed anything. We’d definitely recommend this spot if you want to be close to food, drinks, and other activities. It’s great being able to walk out your door and be in the thick of the best Savannah has to offer.

Second time staying here. Great location close to everything. We love the building and unit is very spacious, comfortable beds. Only drawback is the only TV is in the living room. After a a day out we like to relax in our room and watch movies.

Check in was easy, though be prepared to submit a photo ID electronically before receiving check in info. Upon arrival, the location to shopping is hard to beat. It is right on Broughton St where the majority of the shopping is. However, parking is hard to come by. Plan to park in the State St garage a block away as it is easiest to get to and cheapest for overnight parking. The room was good, though it had a mild smell at the time. It is an older builder so expect creaking floors, thin walls, industrial look and feel (which was part of the appeal for me). All went well the first night until around 8:30pm on a Tuesday night one of the smoke detectors starting going off, likely from a dead battery. The detector was to high onto the wall to safely reach so I contacted the host for help. This is where the stay took a turn. We were told that no one was available to come shut it off and that no one would be able to be there until 11am the next day. So they initially expected my family of 5 to listen to the smoke detector go off every minute for the next 14 hours. No thanks. It took some a threat of leaving/refund before they agreed to offer us two separate units in the same building for the night. There was not another 3/3 room available so the pitch was two separate 2/2 rooms instead. We opted to move into one of the 2/2 units because it had a pull out sofa. I was thankful for the fix, but someone with a ladder, a D battery & ten min would've saved us the hassle of moving units.
