At Paola's Beachfront Owner's Villa, you will enjoy sunrises and sunsets that will inspire and captivate you. Our most treasured amenity: "Nature and wildlife!" Here from the pool deck, and all around you, find capuchin white-faced monkeys, sloths, macaws, many species of birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, and much more.

Our Villa features a large second floor master suite with king size bamboo bed, Bali style furnishings, A/C, ceiling fan, indoor/outdoor seating, large full bath with rain head and handheld shower fixtures, cedar bathroom cabinet with stone sinks, outdoor free standing bathtub overlooking the ocean, teak wood ceilings.not to mention, a safe to place your valuables, our hotel grade white linens, towels, robes, and shower gels and shampoo. Enjoy a direct unobstructed view and sound of the waves from the large second floor balcony.

On the main floor, a large pool deck with stone floor surrounds your private pool with colorful tile, perfect for cooling off any time of day. From our pool, you will enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean while surrounded by gardens intended to provide fragrance and attract wildlife. Our pool area is central to our kitchen, living room, and outdoor dining table made from petrified wood with teak chairs. On the deck, you will find a modern BBQ with outdoor sink perfect for grilling freshly caught fish.

Our second bedroom features A/C, safe for valuables, ceiling fan, bamboo furnishings and shades, teakwood ceiling, with a full en-suite bath, cedar cabinet, granite top, and stone sink. Slide open the glass doors and step directly onto the pool deck. We just added our PETITE GARDEN VILLA- has its own full bath/shower, single bed, microwave, fan….teenagers dream
Our kitchen features top quality Thermador stainless steel appliances and is well equipped with all your cooking and eating needs...blender, coffee maker, convection/microwave oven, dishwasher, and a six burner gas cooktop with oven. Our kitchen also features stunning granite countertops and native cedar custom built cabinets. We have a central kitchen Island with seating for 2 and an indoor bamboo seating area to watch TV. Our modern Samsung washer/dryer is conveniently located in the kitchen area for easy living.

Enjoy private parking, high speed 25 GB wifi, and Sonos speakers indoor and out allowing you to stream and enjoy your favorite music.

The style and feel of our villa is a blend of Bali style, casual, comfortable, simplistic, with touches of elegance, built for living in style yet, fitting for the casual quaint surroundings of Playa Matapalo. We have the distinct advantage of offering a very special and private place to stay on a gorgeous expansive beach less traveled. It is truly one of Costa Rica's best kept secrets, and very close to many natural attractions, national parks, waterfalls, mangroves, Manuel Antonio National Park, The Whale's tail in Uvita, the well known surf town of Dominical, Nauyaka waterfalls, and world class sports fishing from the Marina Pez Vela in Quepos. We have many restaurants to chose from close by.

We have an amazing Concierge and staff who will meet and greet you upon your arrival and help you plan airport transportation, rental cars delivered directly to the villa, activities/excursions such as kayaking in the mangroves, white-water rafting, zip lining, hiking to waterfalls, surf lessons, massage services at the villa, not to mention our private chef and breakfast options.

The most upsetting thing was the heavy metal gate at the driveway wouldnt ooen for us and we tried to mive it on the track and it fell off and almost fell on me but i had time to jump out of the way becauae my boyfriend tried holding onto to it and he ending uo falling down with the gate and it slammed into his lneww and cut both hands. The knee was so bruised we had to limit some of our activites. 3 nights there was a man outside shining flashlight which was diaturbing.
