We also got a check-in reminder call while travelling, which we didn't expect, but our room was still ready and waiting for us at 8 pm. We stayed in room 293 on the second floor, which had a small table and chairs outside to enjoy your coffee or smokables. The room was clean and minimal, with all the necessities without the clutter. “I arrived late and left early. Missed supper which was too bad, had to rush down the road to catch supper at a local restaurant - which wasn't actually really great! ”

“Beautiful historic property, both hotel and grounds. One negative comment though. As our room located beside the living room and dining room, we heard conversations till 12:30am and could not get to sleep. Might be a good idea to inform guests to keep voices to a minimum in deference to people that are in bed earlier.”
