“Relaxing stay at a cabin that had adequate space for family”

There were 9 adults and one pre-teen and we had plenty of room - no one felt crowded or cramped, there were plenty of bathrooms to suit us all, and the kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit around it and play games! “We cannot say enough good things about this place! My husband and I were so sad we had to leave. We are "city folk" and a cabin in the woods is not our typical vacation. Even though there were neighbors on both sides, there are plenty of trees so it felt like we were secluded on our own island. Very quiet and peaceful. “It is as described on the site. Close to downtown and the zoo. We walked to the zoo as it is close. We parked at the park right by downtown making it is to just walk around the many shops. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there.”

“Upon arrival my wife found mouse shit on all of the beds except two, which the host took care of promptly, thank you!! however our host never came back to the cabin to give us the remote to control the fireplace down stairs!! In the amenities section of the rental it stated that there was a hot tub, which there was not😭. Loved the location the advertised property was misleading and the host should have followed through with what he said he was doing. On another note the host worked with us on……

“The house was fantastic. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the trip! Only thing that could have been a bit better was the bedroom on the lake side and the bunk room (especially the bunk room) were pretty cold. Regardless of that though we had a great time!”

“Place was very clean, lots of towels. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Beautiful view of the lake. The king bed was really nice, very comfortable. This place is great for one to two people.”

“Overall we had a nice stay. Great location and great size! A lot of the furniture is wobbly. We were hesitant to use nightstands and coffee tables. Even the dining room table chairs felt unstable. There were also a lot of burnt out lightbulbs. Lastly neither of the doors leading to the waterfront lock.”

“The cabin is small and lacks privacy but has good lake access. While the cabin has the basics the really important things are not being maintained. We first ran out of propane which runs the hot water heater, stove and grill (and they have two tanks). Then the septic tank was full and we couldn’t use the toilet from about 10 pm until 3pm the next day. The property owners did address the issues but they are not quick fixes and it’s really not good when a family of four does not have access to a……
