「When searching for a place to stay in Sayulita for 3 weeks, we were looking for a pool, ac, a location that allowed us to easily walk into town but was separate from the chaos, in an authentically Mexican styled building. We got all that and more. Xochitlan does a great job of combining modern amenities with Mexican charm. 「The location is great. It’s right in the middle of everything that’s happening. Caution for people who are sensitive to sound because there is a bar nearby that plays live music. There are earplugs provided. My suggestion would be not use the earplugs at all and go down and watch the live music because the bands that they’ve had since I have been here are awesome. 「The toilet was dirty. The glasses were dirty. Missing a towel rode. Never did get wifi. When I said something the response was lacklustre. Sorry, when I walk into a place and there’s cootys on the toilet I have an issue! I understand the challenges but my opinion made no difference. If you want to be close to the beach and don’t really care, this the place for you. There’s a band/DJ right underneath your balcony that goes till midnight every night, fyi. Didn’t bother me.
