Raffy's House Pompeii

Beautiful bright and comfortable apartment a few meters from the entrance of the Archaeological Excavations and from the Sanctuary of Pompeii within walking distance. It is located a few kilometers from the Amalfi and Sorrento coast easily reachable by public transport. food shops with the possibility of take-out lunches. The apartment is fully furnished and renovated. 5/6 beds: bedroom, two cots, a sofa bed, bathroom with shower, living room, kitchenette with crockery, air conditioning, heating and balcony. Available: washing machine, iron. We do not accept animals. Possibility of ordering meals such as lunch or dinner and car rental service for Pompeii and surroundings (costs to be agreed). Near the structure there are shuttles to visit Mount Vesuvius

Wonderful hosts!

Wonderful friendly hosts! Lovely apartment but we had to get used to the Naples urban sprawl. This place was very nice and we had a lovely balcony to enjoy limoncello and wine and cheese. Raffy and Pasquale brought sweets and pizza and are delightful people. Excellent hosts!

We felt like family!

Raffaela and her husband are amazing hosts! They greeted us in the street, and welcomed us into the apartment with lemoncello and a lovely bottle of wine. She brought down pastries twice, and espresso as well. He brought us to the airport and train station (for an extra fee, which was fine as it simplified our journey significantly). The apartment was spacious, clean, lovely. The walk to the Pompei ruins was longer than I had realized - probably 25 minutes - but flat and easy. The neighborhood is working class with little to recommend it except the ruins and this wonderful apartment!

Exceptional!

I absolutely am glad i chose Raffy's House for my stay near Pompeii. It is actually 5 minutes away and central location for day trips. We had a car and did Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pompeii, Napoli. Very comfortable home with balcony for having your morning coffee or evening snack. Loved the fact that there was a washer so i washed just before i left. Raffaela and Pasquale are perfect hosts. Gave us directions for where to go site seeing. Raffaela greeted us with homemade pizza and coffee. She was always there for us helping in every way she could. Thank you Raffaela and Pasquale for a comfortable and wonderful stay. Sono assolutamente felice di aver scelto Raffy's House per il mio soggiorno vicino a Pompei. In realtà è a 5 minuti di distanza e in una posizione centrale per gite di un giorno. Avevamo una macchina e abbiamo fatto la Costiera Amalfitana, Capri, Pompei, Napoli. Casa molto confortevole con balcone per prendere il caffè mattutino o lo spuntino serale. Mi è piaciuto il fatto che ci fosse una lavatrice, quindi mi ho lavato poco prima di partire. Raffaela e Pasquale sono dei padroni di casa perfetti. Ci ha dato indicazioni su dove andare a visitare .. Raffaela ci ha accolto con pizza e caffè fatti in casa. Era sempre lì per noi aiutandoci in ogni modo possibile. Grazie Raffaela e Pasquale per un soggiorno confortevole e meraviglioso.

The apartment was clean, roomy with outside space. The hosts were very friendly and onsite they helped answer questions and helped with transport. The train stations were a walkable distance. These made day trips easy to do. There was home made food brought to us after we arrived to help us settle in. Overall they did a great job making us feel at home. Pompeii the archeology site is massive and so worth the 30 minute walk. Highly recommend!

Un accueil extrêmement chaleureux! Raphaella et Pascual ont ete aux petits soins pour nous. L appartement est tres bien equipe et permet de rester plusieurs jours pour visiter pompei le vesuve et toute la cote. Facile d acces pour Naples Ne louez pas de voiture tout se fait tres facilement depuis l appartement. Si vous en louez une ils ont une.place de parking dispo. La rue est tres calme et le joli bacon nous a pffert de belle soirées en extérieur. L appartement est tres grand et ideal avec des enfants. Super propre et on insiste car c est du jamais vu les hotes sont extras et tres disponibles pour toute question Nous avons la chance de partager une pizza sur leur terrasse a notre arrivee et un limoncello fait maison nous attendait dans le.frigo. Choisissez cet appartement , on vous le conseille vivement. Merci a tous les deux pour votre gentillesse votre humour et votre dynamisme !

Bellissimo appartamento curato nei dettagli. Accoglienza eccezionale da parte di Raffaella e suo marito, appena siamo arrivati c'erano delle focacce, delle pizzette e del lemoncello fatto da lei, tutto buonissimo. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la bottiglia vino gentilmente offerta da entrambi. La posizione è ottimale per raggiungere sia i siti Archeologici che la bella Napoli. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che vogliono epolorare la zona. Grazie ancora di tutto !

Sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber

Hervorzuheben, sind in erster Linie die super netten und sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemühten Gastgeber Raffaela und Pasquale, welche das Wort Gastfreundschaft echt aufleben lassen. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung und ist von den archäologischen Ausgrabungsstätten Pompeji einen ca. 25 minütigen Spaziergang entfernt. Der Vesuv, die Amalfiküste, Neapel, Herculaneum und weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Für unser Auto stand ein Parkplatz direkt vor der Ferienwohnung zur Verfügung. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich am Ende einer Sackgasse und ist daher im städtischen Trubel ziemlich ruhig gelegen. An heißen Tagen ist die Klimaanlage in Wohn- und Schlafzimmer ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Unvergesslich ist ein schöner Abend im "Dachterrassenrestaurant" unserer Gastgeber. Raffaela zauberte, mit viel Liebe, ein sehr leckeres mehrgängiges Menü mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Wir hatten einen wundervollen, erholsamen und unvergesslichen Urlaub auch Dank unserer liebevollen Gastgeber Raffaela und Pasquale. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. Grazie mile Raffaela e Paquale!

Gute Ausgangsbasis für archäologisch Interessierte

Das Beste am Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung: die Vermieterin Raffaela ist eine exzellente Köchin! Für ihre Gäste zaubert sie gegen eine Aufwandsentschädigung von ca. 35 Euro köstliche regionale, mehrgängige Menüs (für uns sogar vegetarisch). Danke für diesen wunderbaren Abend auf Eurer Dachterrasse, Raffaela! Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist ruhig gelegen, geräumig und sauber. Die Betten sind an sich bequem, allerdings sind die Einzelbetten kürzer als die sonst üblichen 2 m, so dass wir die Betten anders verteilen mussten. Die Küchenausstattung war "abgezählt". Praktisch fanden wir die Spül- und die Waschmaschine. Als Bahnreisende konnten wir fußläufig zu den Bahnstationen gelangen, und auch ein Supermarkt mit dem regionalen Produkten ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar. An die gegenwärtige Stadt Pompeji selbst sollte man keine großen Erwartungen richten, doch die überwältigende Fülle von Entdeckungen in Pompeji, Herkulaneum, Neapel, Sorrent,...hat diesen Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht!

Super séjour chez Raffaella et Pascuale

Nous sommes allés séjourner avec nos deux enfants pour visiter Pompei, Herculanum, Naples et la côte Amalfitaine. L'appartement est spacieux, bien équipé et était d'une propreté irréprochable à notre arrivée. Raffaella et Pascuale sont vraiment charmants et attentionnés. Ils nous ont très bien accueilli, toujours soucieux de savoir si tout allait bien pour nous, si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit... Des petites attentions sucrées et salées durant notre séjour faites par Raffaella et le Limoncello et le vin offerts par le couple étaient excellents (Raffaella fait son Limoncello). Nous avions une voiture et tout est accessible rapidement, ou vous pouvez prendre le train pour Naples (ce que nous avons fait). Merci à nos deux hôtes qui ont été formidables. Best Italian Hospitality!

Adoriamo il posto di Raffy! Aveva tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. L'appartamento era molto pulito e ben tenuto. La parte migliore è stata che Raffaela e Pasquale ti trattano come una famiglia quando rimani lì. Ogni volta che avevamo bisogno di qualcosa, sono stati molto utili. La parte migliore del nostro soggiorno è stata quando Raffy ci ha preparato una cena meravigliosa! Lei è una cuoca straordinaria! Translation: We love Raffy's place!! It had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The best part was Raffaela and Pasquale treat you like family when you stay there. Anytime we needed anything, they were very helpful. Sehr nette, zuvorkommende Gastgeber

Die Wohnung war sehr zentral zu Pompeji und auch Neapel gelegen. Sie war recht groß (2 große Schlafzimmer, große Wohnküche, Abstellraum und großer Balkon) und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung war sehr komplett mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine und allen notwendigen Zutaten wie Gewürzen, Kochutensilien. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die überaus große Aufmerksamkeit und Zugewandtheit der Gastgeber. Schon bei der Ankunft hat uns Pasqual beim Gepäck geholfen, Raffaela hatte Pizza und Espressi zubereitet. Die Freundlichkeit hielt während unseres ganzen Aufenthaltes an. Mal gab es Pizza, mal Espresso, mal Beides.. Wenn wir Fragen hatten, zur Wohnung oder touristische, standen beide jederzeit hilfreich zu Seite. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt dort.

Wonderful apartment and host

This apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location to explore Pompeii. I stayed here with my husband and two children. Our host Raffaela was so helpful, accommodating, and just an all around lovely person. She makes excellent limoncello and my husband says she makes the best coffee too! Sehr schöne Wohnung - sehr nette Vermieter

Super nette Vermieter, die sehr bemüht sind, sehr kurzfristige Buchung war möglich, die Wohnung ist schön und praktisch eingerichtet, es gibt eine gute Küche, nur etwas wenig Besteck, im Schlafzimmer ist ein großer Schrank mit viel Stauraum. Zwei Nachteile hatte die Wohnung : wir waren im März da und die Wohnung war relativ kühl und die Duschtemperatur ist schlecht zu regeln.

Die herzlichen Vermieter machten den Aufenthalt in der zentral gelegenen, schönen und vor allem sehr sauberen Unterkunft zu einem Erlebnis wahrer Gastfreundschaft. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung und eignet sich vortrefflich um die Gegend von Pompeji, Neapel und die gesamte Amalfiküste mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem Auto zu erkunden. A little out of the way but great hosts make it worth it.

The property was lovely and once we figured out our train and bus stops it was quite easy to find. The apartment was clean and well setup. What sets this property apart is Raffy and her family. While there is a bit of a language barrier they are just so lovely that you can’t help but enjoy the visit. We got in later than anticipated and she came down to make sure we had all the information we needed for a Pompeii the next day. She also brought us baba and lemon cello that she made herself. You could immediately feel at ease at this apartment! The morning we left they helped us get to our train station. Overall the home is nice and is decently close to Pompeii (about a 40 min walk) but Raffy and her family are special and the place feels like home.

Appartement charmant

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement au calme et bien situé avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Raffaela et son mari sont très accueillants, chaleureux et disponibles au moindre souci. Leurs petites attentions nous ont beaucoup touchées (corbeille de fruits, bouteilles d'eau dans le réfrigérateur et bouteille de vin à l'arrivée) et le limoncello est tout simplement divin ! Sans oublier le gâteau maison ! Tout est accessible à pied pour qui aime marcher : la gare et le centre-ville de Pompei sont à 10-15 mn. Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander cette location et c'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons Grazie mille, non vedo l'ora di rivederti. Zahra, Vincent et les garçons

Best Hosts Ever, Big Apartment, & Great Location

This was our favorite stay while we toured Italy. We were just close enough to Pompeii to enjoy the town square, ruins, and promenade but were able to come back to a quiet, comfy apartment that gave us the feel of real living in Italy. Now, let me tell you about our hosts! Rafaella and Luigi were AMAZING! I told them that it was my Dad's 70th Birthday and the left us a nice welcome basket with food and wine. Then, they took us to their favorite lunch restaurant to help us unwind from our trip there. For dinner, they invited us for homemade pizza! Have you ever met someone that you felt like you knew for years and were immediate friends ... that is what it was like with our hosts. We laughed for hours telling stories using the translation app. They even helped us as a private transfer to our next two stops on our trip. These hosts make staying with them more than just a "place," they make it an incredible experience that we are still talking about! Enjoy your stay at Raffy's House Pompeii!

Très agréable

Super appartement à moins de 2 km de Pompei. Raffaela et son mari sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes ( nous sommes arrivés et Pasquale, nous a emmené en voiture faire des courses, nous a aussi emmené à Pompei en voiture car nous étions à pied). Charmant appartement avec balcon

Raffaela et son mari ont été très charmants, accueillants et arrangeants. L'appartement est spacieux avec deux chambres et un balcon et la résidence est propre. Avec une petite voiture ou une vespa on peut faire le tour des différents points d'intérêts de la région. Je recommande absolument.

Relaxing and great location

My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for a few days. It was a quick taxi ride from the airport. We were greeted by Rafella and her family. All of them are such warm, happy, inviting people. They helped us many times. From getting my lost bag from the airport to getting us to the train station early in the morning when we left. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to Pompeii, and also to the area where we were able to catch a bus up to mt Vesuvius. There are lots of little markets and restaurants just a short walk away. We both enjoyed our time here and Rafella and her family made that very easy. I highly recommend this property and would definitely return again!
