The Good Bones Abode

Close to the Jetport, a number of spectacular local beaches, and downtown Portland, this beautiful home is ideally situated. Our farmhouse, originally built in 1799, has a country feel while being close to the action. There is a separate entrance, free parking, a huge yard, and great views of the Maine sky. There are horses across the street, lots of flowers. Enjoy a real getaway with immediate access to Portland`s nightlife and dining scene.

We had an awesome stay at The Good Bones Abode. It was perfect for our family and 2 furry friends. The farm house is adorable and there was plenty of space, very comfortable beds and a kitchen that met all our needs. Cate and Hutch are wonderful hosts and Cate responded promptly to any questions we had. She also has fantastic ideas of things to see and do in the area. We loved the fact that it was easy to get to the beach or other places relatively quickly but was away from the hustle and bustle of town. The family is already wanting to plan a trip to stay there again next year.

Beautiful older home with lots of character. Comfy beds, updated appliances, well manicured gardens and pretty outdoor sitting area. Close location to the interstate and urban areas, yet in a lovely country setting.

While we were not there very long we did enjoy our stay! The inside was rustic and beautifully decorated and the outside was whimsical with flowers galore! We would definitely love to stay again if ever in the area!

Farmhouse as described for a quick trip

We enjoyed this well kept property with beautiful gardens. It was very pet friendly with a nice back yard area. We cooked steak on the grill one night.
