"Der Ausblick vom Esstisch ist toll. Nachts kann man in beiden Schlafzimmern bei geöffneten Fenstern das Meeresrauschen hören (sofern Wellen da sind). Quasi direkt an der Seebrücke. Genug Geschirr, dass der Geschirrspüler voll wird! Tolle Matratzen - habe selten so gut geschlafen. Einparken im carport war am ersten Tag sportlich (sehr schmal), aber mit ein bisschen Übung machbar. Toller Strand inkl. möglichem Walewatching (Schweinswale). Nur knapp 20 km nach Kiel. Sowohl Kalifornien als auch Brasilien sind fußläufig erreichbar."

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
