Husbands Birthday Weekend
It was my husbands birthday weekend. We came last year and he wanted to come back this year. So I booked our stay here. The apartment is extra clean, well stocked (just bring your own food/drink). It's a beautiful location and no one bothers you. Lovely deck and views. So many things to see and go to. There is a directory with lots of good information. Car museum, military museum etc...Casino. etc. The local diner Sweeney is quaint and friendly too. This IS the place to stay for relaxation and you can hear the rooster too. Love it!!

One thing
This is our third stay at Cody Farms and it remains excellent in all ways but one -- that coded lock. Saturday night my partner and I tried everything we could think of to open it before she went and fetched the owner -- who also had to try three times to get it open. But what if he hadn't been available? Maybe the sticky door just needs sanding, but it is the one thing that should be addressed. Otherwise, clean, comfortable, love the fields in back and our dog does too.

Very clean and comfortable & out in the country
We stayed 2 nights while in the Saratoga area to ride some local mountain bike trails. The unit was clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We love the quiet rural setting and yet less than 15 mins from Saratoga. The recommended pizza place, Harvest & Hearth just 5 mins down the road was very good. We would definitely look to stay at Cody Farms again.

If you want a quiet, peaceful stay within 15 minutes to most activities, shops, restaurants and bars/entertainment, this is your place. Acres for our dog to run and explore. Rental was clean and well equipped. Host was available and responsive. Highly recommended.

Perfect, spacious home away from home.
Our stay was all that we expected and more. My teenage daughter and I were jet lagged yet expected at dozens of family wedding events in Saratoga Springs, so the large, comfortable bed in a slightly dimmed bedroom was the perfect ambiance for daytime naps and a real treat every evening. The main space was huge and bright and the balcony an added joy. The bathroom was also great - spacious with good water pressure. We appreciated the added touches like big fluffy towels, filtered water already in the fridge, and our request for an early check-in approved. Great Wi-Fi too (I teach online and it worked well for my Zoom lessons) We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The farmland around us was beautiful and we really wanted to see more of the big furry farm cat. A beautiful place to stay ! (PS …even without a car. We used Ubers which were never more than 10min away.)

Perfect Weekend
We had an unforgetable time in Saratoga Springs, NY. The accomodations were unbelievable. Homey, comfy, clean, organized and quiet. This was our first time using vrbo and we were pleasantly surprised how fabulous it was. Compliments even till today when I forgot to take a picture of a painting in our bedroom. The photo was imediately sent and my husband forgot his charger. It in the mail as we speak. We would stay here again and hoping longer next time.

Cozy Getaway
This was our second time staying here. Home is comfortable and clean . Had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.. Danis quick to respond with any questions that come up. We will definitely book again in the future. The day we were booked for arrival VBRO stated that a winter advisory was in effect, Contacted Dan and he was able to accommodate us by letting us come a day early.. Perfect Farm Apartment
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the apartment. Everything was exactly as described. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, and warm and cozy. The location is incredible as you are on a beautiful farm with rolling hills, and only 10 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs. I especially enjoyed trail running on the farm fields behind the apartment. The owners were very helpful with questions I had about the area. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Saratoga.

Cozy, Comfortable Abode
Just minutes away from the hub of Saratoga Springs, this is the perfect spot to stay. The comfortable setup and the atmosphere are everything you need. And who can complain about a little peace and quiet? Although our paths with Dan and his family didn't cross, Dan was very responsive and detailed. There were no issues with the host, finding the spot, and the stay. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great Rental
The rental was clean, comfortable, and met our needs. It was convenient to Saratoga Springs, attractions, and hiking trails. We had our dog with us and walked her on hiking trails in the area and the fields behind the rental. The fields were great for morning and evening walks. We enjoyed the location and the comfort of the rental. It was a great vacation for my wife and myself and our dog. We would definitely recommend this rental.

This property was on beautiful farmland and had everything we needed. There were many Fields for walking our dogs which provided beautiful views of rolling hills outside of Saratoga. Downtown Saratoga was a short drive. Bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owner was great!

We came up to Saratoga for a wedding with our dog. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet area and only 15 minutes from Saratoga center! I took the dog for walks in the fields every morning and sat out on the deck to read. Will definitely book again!

Great Saratoga Getaway property
Came for the races from Ohio and location is perfect. Would stay again. Watch out for the greeters though, the two doggies like to get in your way when pulling in the drive. They are not allowed back to the location but the driveway was a little iffy with them when they were out. They are sweet, but don’t get out of your car to get them to move as they are boisterous. Property was clean and bed was super comfy. Firm but not too firm. Accommodations were nice and we left our bottled water for the next visitor :). Overall, a great place with a wonderful set-up for a long or short stay. Highly recommended!

It was nice to stay somewhere quiet. Hoped to see some wildlife or farm animals. Unfortunately, we only saw rabbits and chickens. The Roosters helped us with wakeup.

Basic accommodation in good location
This is a no frills rental in close proximity to Saratoga, the Adirondacks, and Vermont. Our dog especially enjoyed her walks in the large field behind the property. If you’re not looking for anything fancy, this is a great place to stay!

A Place to Return To
Everything about the apartment was comfortable. I did meet the owner, Dan, and he was nothing but sweet and pleasant. The views from the balcony were beautifully breathtaking. Heard a rooster off in the distance while watching the sunrise from the balcony. A big plus was that they allow pets. Our cat was very comfortable there. We had a much needed restful evening; ordered take out which was delivered quickly from Primo Pizza; the cannoli was delicious. The one thing I would improve is cleanliness, not that it was horrible, it wasn't, but since we were responsible for leaving it clean I ended up cleaning up after others, I think. Swept the kitchen floor which appeared to need a washing and cleaned the bathroom mirror. Dusted. Please don't let this stop you from going to this place. Generally, it is perfect! I would definitely go there again.

Peaceful getaway
Great weekend exploring Saratoga Springs! Dan and Shannon gave us all the information we needed and provided everything necessary in their lovely space. There is TONS of space to walk around their property and enjoy nature - our puppy ran his heart out. The apartment was very clean, organized and equipped with all cooking utensils we needed - even a washer/dryer that turned out to be very useful. We will definitely come back

Our Cody farm stay was great. My husband, daughter, and I were all very comfortable. Check-in was easy and Dan was super flexible when our arrival plans changed. Overall it was the perfect country get-away in close proximity to both Saratoga Springs and West Mountain.

Spectacular! Last min. reservation was graciously accommodated for a hastily organized road trip. An hour from home and so quiet, so serene. Beautiful rolling hills. Owner very responsive to questions and kept feeding us info about the rental as our reservation date neared - greatly appreciated. It's a fairly new rental so some staples you may be used to finding have not shown up yet (spices, oil, condiments) bring them along. Just a great getaway- for any length of stay. Breathe in that wonderful country air!

Country Charm!
My husband and I just returned from a 10 day stay at Cody Farms. We live in Alaska, but are originally from the upstate New York area. We found Cody Farms exactly as represented by the photos on the VRBO site, and the comments made by the owner, Dan. The rental was clean, comfortable, quiet, very private, and had everything you might need in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable! Dan was exceptional at getting back to me whenever I had a question. Yes, there are some steep stairs, but Dan makes that clear in his write-up, and so if you think you might have a difficult time handling stairs, this wouldn't be the place for you. There is security lighting all around the parking and entrance areas...so helpful when returning to the unit late at night! The only reason I gave the "location and neighnorhood" category a 4 is because this really is a rural (though beautiful) location. If you expect to be on-the-go from this rental often, expect a longer drive to and from it. I would certainly stay here again!

Lovely well appointed apartment in a bucolic setting.
This is a very clean well laid out property. The apartment is light and nicely decorated .Our 2 small dogs were welcome and enjoyed meeting the owners 2 large dogs. Would recommend this rental.

Beautiful rural property with a lovely upstairs apartment. Great location for getting to Skidmore College and Saratoga Springs, as well as nearby historical sites. We loved using the very complete kitchen in the apartment to make our meals. Excellent communication with the property owner.

The apartment was as pictured, private, and probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed, including the kitchen appliances and bathroom. Kitchen was well supplied and cooking utensils, pots/pans were also clean and of nice quality. The bed was VERY comfortable even with some of our ailing joints. A relaxing, quiet place to be. Owner Dan was very nice and helpful.

A spacious, well-kept, private accommodation.
The accommodations are immaculate, the amenities up-to-date. Good TVs, a nice selection of games, room to spread out and relax, a very workable kitchen. The owners were friendly when they met us and then left us alone, which is good :-) They made it clear they were available if we needed anything, however. Our only quibble about the property would be the very steep stair access, which might pose difficulties for those with bad knees etc. In all other respects, a terrific, reasonably-priced accommodation.

Great Apartment
The apartment was clean and well furnished. Owner was really nice and helpful. It was only about 20 minutes to downtown Saratoga and the area around the farm is beautiful. It was really nice to drive through the farm area on the way home from exploring in town. We will try to stay here again the next time we are in Saratoga.
