“My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. There’s a kitchen and plenty of room in the sleeping building. Things were really clean and nice with a coffee welcome tray. Took a walk up to a little lake, and then hiked into the woods -……

“This place is amazing and comfy place to stay. The hot tub was clean and great for the use even in the middle of the summer in the hot heat. It was great to relax in the evening after a long hot day in Madison. I loved the porch how it wrapped around the whole cabin. You can enjoy the shade no matter what time of day it is. There is a nice little creek that you can walk through so bring extra shoes. We live in the country and still loved everything about this place. Next time we will bring the……

“Adorable, historical home fully updated & a well supplied kitchen, comfortable beds and great location. Plenty of street parking. The only downside was that there is a bar directly across the street, and the crowd noise goes on until very late. But the backyard deck with the river view was a wonderful place to relax & watch the boats and barges pass by. ”
