I would recommend investing in more outdoor chairs to sit on the deck and possibly removing the gaming PC and placing a TV or a stereo system for some music choices in the front of the house. Neighborhood was very calming and quiet and also close to where we were hiking. The beds were SUPER comfortable as well. We all slept great!"

"Everything was as expected and more! There was two days of shrimp fishing and a fisherman who had spoken to us brought us a huge bag of 5-7” shrimp for our enjoyment. We watched two orcas playing for hours from the front porch picnic table while having morning coffee! There were several outlets nearby to the Olympic Park and we saw a herd of Roosevelt Elk at the Jefferson wildlife reserve. Most of all, our hosts kindness and respect plus the cute touches in the cabin really eclipsed the natural...

"Thank you for sharing your home! If you’re looking for a quaint vintage cabin on the water, this is it! It rained the weekend we were there, but it made for a cozy relaxing stay in the beach cabin. It has all the necessities for cooking, and the hot tub was a bonus. Our host was very responsive and accommodating with our check-in/out needs. "My wife and I and a friend spent nearly a week at Oyster Lodge mostly under completely blue skies and little wind. We enjoyed the privacy, the spa, the commercial gas stove, the huge kitchen, and oystering on the beach. The large propane grill was perfect for cooking oysters in the shell. We also went clamming at the nearby WDFW tidelands near Quilcene. The 100 steps down to the beach were a little challenging, but we all made it on several occasions. "Upon arrival we knew we’d be in for a fabulous relaxing week. We stayed for 4 days. Our kids stayed busy playing on the lake, kayaking, and skipping rocks. When it rained too heavily we took our fun inside and played a few games we brought with and discovered games in the tv stand as well! The inside of the cabin is beautiful and has such charm. "We loved the clean cabin, all the towels, comfy beds, and the sharp kitchen knives! But the lake access was the best part! It was great for the kids to fish all day and to use the kayaks and paddleboard. The propane camp fire worked great. We really relaxed and are thankful for this cabin and amazing host."

"The room was as described and quite rustic. We could see gaps around the door and A/C unit which was fine at first, but when getting ready for bed we saw a disturbing large spider walk across the floor. I didn’t get a picture of that @$$ but my estimate is that it had a nickel/quarter sized body with some legs for the fashion runway. Long story long, we decided to sleep in the car instead of the room because of that freakishly large spider trying to provide an unrequested turndown service."
