“The home is comfortable and gorgeous and we loved the wood heater as it was cold enough to use it and we have one like it at home. Proximity to Flinders Chase NP was important for us and the lovely beach was readily accessible for long walks. But what we loved most were the wallabies that came down to the cottage every afternoon for a feed - they were very entertaining and we loved feeding and watching them. ”

“We visited from the US as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We loved the remoteness of the property and seeing the kangaroo & echidna right out the window. If you’re a bird watcher, there is plenty to see! Accommodations were top notch. Excellent quality linens and really comfortable beds. We would stay again if visiting KI in the future. We brought all our groceries from Adelaide which worked out really well. Such a nice welcome tray of local from Yael, the host & we had to go……

“New furniture in room was nice & bed was comfy , definitely need an extra blanket though . Kitchen wasn’t clean , light globes need replacing , floors needed cleaning & outside was very dirty . Fantastic staff & food at the pub . ”

“We had a very comfortable stay at island Time. The house is well set up, clean and very quiet. Caught salmon ( delicious ) at the local beach and looked for fossils in the rocks. Good location for arriving at Remarkable rocks early to catch the best light. Very happy with our stay here.”

“This property is gorgeous. A very private setting with beautiful views of river and bush and we had stunning sunsets to enjoy. The two kyaks were such a bonus as the river was glassy for 2 days while we there. The pool table was fun too even though in need of repair and levelling. A superb spot to go.”
