The house was really clean & comfortable & well stocked and the view of the ocean was amazing. We also really enjoyed the little downtown area in Seaside and the beach. We were originally going to stay in Cannon Beach, but are glad we close Seaside instead. Cannon Beach has a beautiful waterfront, but Seaside had more little shops and restaurants to wander around in during the evening.

This cozy beach condo was perfect for our honeymoon getaway! The location is unbeatable — close to Seaside and Cannon Beach — and the ocean view is absolutely stunning. Everything was spotless and so peaceful, which made for such a relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze, and we noticed that previous concerns (like the broken microwave handle) have been fixed, which shows the owners really care for the property.The king bed is very firm, so just a heads-up if you prefer a softer mattress, and the washer is a little loud — but neither took away from how much we enjoyed our time here. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beach escape!

Perfect ocean view! We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean—very peaceful. This home is in an ideal location, between Seaside and Cannon Beach.

The condo was filthy. The floors were dirty, had a layer of dirt or dust on them. The windows were dirty. We had to clean. The entire house smelled like mold/mildew- seemed like it was the carpets. No amount of fresh air helped clear it out.The blind in bedroom was broken and stuck open. Sun coming in at 530 made it impossible to sleep past that time and lights coming in at night from spot light in yard.The bed was falling apart- every time you moved it squeaked. Microwave handle was broken so we did not want to use it.We had 4 nights booked and left after one. Vacasa stopped responding to messages after I notified them we were leaving early.

Could of been better

The place wasn't clean. Popcorn found in and around the couch. Microwave was busted up. Heater vents and baseboards were filfy and the outside of the stove was greasy and dirty. Furniture is very uncomfortable. Won't be back.

Great Cozy and Clean

Very clean, beautiful views but note there is no beach access. Location is close to everything. Kitchen very well stocked. Check in process was confusing. Rented through VRBO but emails were from vacasa. Didn’t receive check in info or identity check emails. Also house keeping barged in the front door 30 minutes before check out with no warning. Still….great property and worth five stars.

Fantastic Getaway

Scenic property @ Whalers Point was ideal for our getaway. Gorgeous sunsets from the deck added to our enjoyment. Gentle deer passing along the edge of the property was an added bonus. Would definitely return.

Painters werent invited

It was not pleasant waking up and having breakfast with strange men lookingvin the bedrroom window and livingroom door., after our first nights sleep. Then to have the laddrers and drop cloths blockingvour main door. When we complained, and were assured they would be moved along, we came back 2 hours later to find them still there. Our first full day was totally disrupted (we only had a few days). This unit has damages, that are taped off, broken tiles, and the furniture is very old and water stained and stained by scrub marks. Not near the quality of the last unit we stayed in at the Whalers, although the rent was similar. The day we lost, staying away from the unit, while there were painters poking around , should have been reimbursed. We asked to be moved, but the management assured us the painters would be gone by the time we returned. We never should have had to leave, and then come backbto 2 more hours of "wrapping up:.".

A beautiful retreat

We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful neighborhood during our stay. The view was spectacular and the location was perfect-off the beaten path but close enough to bike or drive to restaurants or to the beach. We highly recommend!

Great condo

Beautifully appointed, very well stocked, amazing views. Very relaxing “feeling” to the house. My only comment is the very very low toilets. Both my partner and I are seniors with bad knees and the toilets were difficult to use.

Amazing views!

We had a lovely getaway over the holiday at this home. The pictures are exactly what you get - but the view is much better in person. The house was extremely well stocked with everything you need. We had a small issue with an alarm needing to be changed out and they came within 20 min and resolved the issue. Very nice and communicative! Would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy and quiet

The location was delightful - clear ocean views from the loft and partial from the main floor. The street was a little north of city center and peaceful. The on-site owner was very kind but not intrusive. I did wish I had known that all the sleeping options were upstairs while the restroom was downstairs.

Quiet retreat; Great view.

Enjoyed 6 nights. Great place, fantastic views. The condo complex was pretty empty (mid-May) so it made for a nice, quiet retreat. Fell asleep listening to the waves crashing below. This unit has everything that you need! Thank you.

Amazing view

The property was clean and inviting. The view is all you want. The master bedroom mattress is lumpy and extremely soft! The TV in living room is tiny. It requires 2 remotes to operate the TV. The TV did not work. I purchased 2 different batteries and that did not solve the problem. I called Vacasa’s 24 hour line to report issue. The person answering the phone did not ask for my name or what property I was staying at. So for the people coming after me - I tried! The WiFi is solid so I was able stream on my laptop. Bottom line - the bed is a deal breaker! If your back was fine when you arrive. You will be aching when you leave.
