The property manager was responsive and helpful in providing resources available in the city. The property was well maintained. Enjoyed our 3 day stay prior to our cruise.
On the plus side…..reasonably comfortable including the pull out couch, fully equipped kitchen, good WiFi and entertainment, near hospitals, a few restaurants and grocery store. Nice city views.
On the negative side…… older building with no central air and the portable AC units are loud, the unit is adjacent to the Convention Center I 5 corridor underpass and highway noise is a 24/7 issue, shower heads don’t function well.

We travel annually with a group of women. We grew up together in the Midwest and went to a girls school. This is our 20th trip together in 21 years.
The Seattle trip at this condo was really fantastic!! We had a very full agenda during our stay. There were a number of issues with our unit to include: a power outage and someone encroaching on our allocated parking space in the garage. However, other than a nuisance, this did not disrupt any of our plans. Karen, the property manager was in constant communication and resolved these issues without disruption to us.
The 2 bedroom unit was clean, well-appointed and updated. (We suggest a type of LVT flooring in the bedrooms rather than carpet).
The selected art was truly exceptional throughout the space and the bathrooms, while small, were clean and functional. The kitchen and family room were also well appointed and the kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes, and morning coffee.
Location across from the convention center was very convenient with Ubers taking no longer than 3 minutes to arrive.
Finally, the roof top, while small is a fabulous amenity. Day or night, it offers a fabulous view of the city and we chose to order take-out our last night there and we dined on the rooftop!!
Be advised that the parking garage and spaces are truly for compact or small vehicles.
I would return to the Elektra and kudos to Karen, for resolving each matter professionally.
A great location! We could easily walk to the market and fantastic restaurants. The condo is tucked away on a side street making it feel secluded in the middle of downtown. The building had a secure parking space and was so quiet. We do plan to stay again the next time we visit.
This was our second time staying at this property. Last visit was in summer of 2022. Location, accommodations for six, and price point is one of the main reasons we chose this property again. The building is not new, but is maintained, clean, safe and secure. The rooftop gives you an amazing view of Seattle. The convention center, Pike Place Market, Lake Union, The Space Needle, Downtown, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping are all within a short walk. Check in and check out went great. We would definitely stay here again.
The property was great! The location was close to everything and had a great view, but was well insulated from city noise. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. Karen was a great host and was available to answer any questions
Great location, easy friendly check in.
One shower inoperative, we were informed
About on arrival day. Two full baths were one of our reasons for this property. Still a nice stay.
Older accommodations but overall good. Not easy to walk downtown due to the elevation to Pikes Market, the Space Needle and Pier 55, 56, 57 etc. Very steep so if you’re planning on walking to the tourist areas keep that in mind. We used Uber as its easy.

TV didn't work in one of the rooms. One of the showers didn't work. Needs upgrading.
From booking this rental unit to paying for it to checking in, it was a complete nightmare. The hosts are not responsive via text/call/email and I couldn’t even get the final payment processed. The day before we arrived we were informed the unit’s second bathroom was broken and one of the showers didn’t work. The first night, the fridge leaked water on the floor, which no one ever came to look at or clean up. Finally, after we checked out, the host accused us of using the broken shower (because someone had placed the bath mat on the floor) despite the fact it was taped off and clearly out of order. I responded promptly to try to assuage concerns and confirm the shower was never used and the host never replied. There are loads of apartments in Seattle, if you’re looking for a hassle-free stay, this is not the place.
First Hill was perfect for my family of five--three kids and two adults. Karen was very welcoming, helpful, and kind. We were so close to everything Seattle has to offer that we never really used the kitchen except for leftovers or water. The condo is very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. We loved looking out the windows. The people in the building are nice too. The parking spot is very tiny as clearly stated in the rental description, which was comical due to the massive car the rental car place gave us--an Armada I think. Thankfully we could stay in the lines and a car never parked next to us on one side. Whew!
We walked to the Space Needle, took the monorail home, walked to Pike Place numerous times, walked to waterfront...and felt very safe. As night falls, there are more homeless people downtown. That is true of any downtown in a temperate climate. They do not bother anyone.
Seattle was amazing, and staying here helped us enjoy everything the city and mountains and islands have to offer.
Great space for a family of 4. Kitchen well stocked. Nice views. Easy check in and out. 15 - 20 min walk to most sights including the waterfront and Pike Place.
This property was the perfect location for our family to explore Seattle. Multiple Seattle neighborhoods are within a short walk and was ideal for us to be able to come and go throughout the day. The furnishings and amenities were just as described and were exactly what we needed. The included parking spot was also huge as locating any type of parking in Seattle is a challenge.
Our family of four truly learned so much about Seattle from this trip. Having a parking spot was awesome and also having the option of walking made for an awesome trip. A little cramped but that's to be expected in a condo with two bathrooms that sleeps up to 6.
My friends and I enjoyed our three day stay at the condo. Location made it easy to get all around the downtown area via walking and Uber/Lyft. It is right next to Convention Center, which could be useful depending on your reasoning for staying (or not if you don’t want to be near a busy business center. It is not a “touristy area,” it is a city condo building with all the regular hustle and bustle). Up the hill there is an eclectic bunch of restaurants and bars. The parking spot is very convenient and great if you are going to venture out of city limits for fun in nature. Property owner was very helpful.
This property was just what we needed. Roomy enough for the four of us, so we weren't falling all over each other. Everything we needed was in the condo. The only negative was no washer and dryer in the condo but there was a laundry room on site and we weren't there to do laundry anyway!! Very convienient to all the attractions. We used Uber to get around as recommened by the concierge, Erin, do to the homeless in the area. Being on the 11th floor was fun. It isn't often you have seagulls flying past your windows! Lol. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Seattle.
Our very first vrbo experience and first timers in Seattle was nothing short of SPECTACULAR. My husband, son, and I loved the condo unit, it was cozy and spacious, and situated in a most perfect spot in Seattle. Although the building had a loss of heat, (through no fault of the owner) Karen came through and went above and beyond in accommodating us with alternate condos. We loved our unit so much that we decided to stay and utilize a space heater, also supplied by Karen. She was a text away whether we needed dish washing detergent, a space heater, or a restaurant recommendation. Her old school customer service made our visit that much more positive. Thank you, thank you!!!!! THE KINAYAS
My family and I stayed here for a weekend, and it was incredibly convenient. We were only steps away from downtown and from Capitol Hill. The property was large enough for a family of 4, felt safe and clean. A great stay, overall.
This was a great property in a perfect location. Close enough to everything to walk or hop on the light rail. It slept 5 comfortably, the futon sofa was quite comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all you needed. Great stay.
Very good, walkable location, could get everywhere within 20-25 minutes of walking. The place is well stocked and clean. Fast communications with property manager.
Unfortunately, I can not give it 5 stars for 2 reasons.
There is no central air conditioner in the apartments. There is one portable air conditioner in the living room and in one bedroom. Since both are connected through the windows, there is very poor sound protection, and since apartment overlooking highway, there is a lot of noise: either because of air conditioner or the traffic. One bedroom did not have air conditioner, only fan. During our stay it was hot in Seattle, and nights were not comfortable at all. None of the pictures show that, and we were quite unpleasantly surprised when found out about it during checking in.
The second problem is that there is no washer and dryer in apartments, even though again, it was shown in the pictures. There is common area / laundromat on 2nd floor where you need to go if you need to wash your clothes.
It would not be so frustrating if we would be aware about that. Since none of the pictures show it, and we realized that only when we were checking in, I can give it only 3 stars.
This was close enough for us to walk to Pike Street Market, Seattle Center (though Monorail is fun!), and the Waterfront without having to stay right in the city. We also found some great food on First Hill and discovered Freeway Park right across the street.. The condo is nicely decorated in Seattle themed art. It was a great space to go to relax after big days of sightseeing. Plenty of room for board games. and tv watching in the living/dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will check to see if this property is available the next time we head to Seattle. We had a fantastic trip!
