Disappointing Stay at Jabba’s Palace – Not Worth the Risk
I recently stayed at Jabba’s Palace in Seattle, and while the price was affordable, the experience left much to be desired. Here’s a breakdown of the issues we encountered:
•Power Outage Without Notice: On our final night, the power went out in our room. We were not informed in advance, and the after-hours contact provided no fix that afternoon, evening, or night. When we returned later that evening, the entire building was dark. Thankfully, the door keypads operated on battery, allowing us to enter using our phone flashlights. To make matters worse, the refrigerator had been leaking due to the power loss.
• Upon check-in, we requested an additional towel, as the one provided was unusually small. We were told there were no extra towels available, which was puzzling given the earlier inquiry about our needs.
•Poor Maintenance: The stairwell walls were marked with numerous scuffs, likely from luggage, indicating a lack of upkeep.
•Noise Issues: The walls were incredibly thin; we could hear conversations from the neighboring room, disrupting our privacy and comfort.
•Spotty Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, causing issues with streaming services and audio lag on the in-room TV.
•Lack of Compensation: When we inquired about compensation for the power outage, we were informed that they couldn’t compensate for items outside of their control.
I would not recommend.
