Great, simple stay with convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice, simple studio. Close to town. We went squid fishing a couple of nights and truly enjoyed that as well.

Cozy cottage

This little cottage is a very nice place to stay it was clean and had all the thing i personally needed to have a nice stay. It very close to downtown Edmonds which is a very lovely little town!

When we come to visit family in Shoreline, Vern’s Cottage is always our first choice place to stay! It’s clean, comfortable and so conveniently located to downtown Edmonds, the park and the ferry.

Quiet Refuge

We love staying at Vern’s Studio. It is charming and cozy and quiet. Within walking distance to our favorite coffee shop, Walnut Street Coffee and a short drive to the ferry terminal and PCC Market, it’s an ideal location. It is definitely our preferred place to stay when we visit Edmonds to see our kids and grandkids.

Convenient for visiting family in town

Nice and convenient location for family visiting Edmonds. Walkability to Edmonds is very good, but for other local attractions plan in having a vehicle available. Hosts were friendly and communicative. We would stay here again.

It was nice to have this hideaway as a home base. It suited our needs well. Loved being able to walk to a coffee shop for breakfast about 6 blocks away.

Cozy Studio

My husband and I loved our stay here. This cozy studio was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was so convenient to the lovely town of Edmonds and ferries. The owners were readily available for anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Family visit

We have family in Everette, Kingston, andShoreline. This was a perfect location. We could walk on the ferry to visit family, saving lots of time compared to taking our car across. The town of Edmonds gave us interesting coffee and dinner options when we were not with family. A great home base. Joe was very responsive to our check in and questions.

Sweet studio super close to downtown

Vern’s studio is perfect for a nice visit in Edmonds. It’s super close to everything. The cottage is cute and super quiet. Checking in and out of the studio is a breeze. My husband and I would absolutely stay here again.

Cute little cottage walkable to a cute little town could inspire a novel/movie. We had everything we needed for a relaxing break from our cross country move. Owners provide a great booklet of local info - don't miss the BBQ deli counter at the nearby hardware store!

Fabulous Gem in Edmonds!

This was a perfect place to stay to be able to walk to Downtown Edmonds and the waterfront. The host was excellent and immediately responsive in communication. Safe and quiet, comfortable - I loved it. I stayed for 2 weeks and could have stayed longer - there's still so much I didn't get to explore. I loved all the Christmas decorations that are in the neighborhood. Highly recommend this comfy cottage.

Check in could not be easier! You choose a lock code ahead of time and move in at your leisure Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The sun hits the deck late afternoon , a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine! The bed is very comfy, that along with a cool breeze from the window makes for a perfect nights sleep. The studio is in a prime location! You can walk to everything in Edmonds including the beach. Joe is a very accommodating host. I will stay in the studio again.

Cozy and efficient

Nice clean property in quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked and loved that they had a french press for coffee. Bed was very comfortable. Great tiled shower. Alexa app for various lights plus music. WiFi worked well. Nice home away from home for a visit to Edmonds.

My highest recommendation! Best mattress I've encountered at such accommodations. Extra credit for host Joe for going out of his way to help me with EV charging when my car's battery was running low.

Review of our 2 night stay

We enjoyed our stay. Liked that there was a washer and dryer to use. Had everything else we needed. Enjoyed having Netflix! We're not real techie, but only found ourselves in the dark once when we couldn't remember the light name! Thought we did pretty good overall!! Stairs were a little bit of an issue, but had a good sturdy handrail.
