We had a great stay in Capitol Hill. The apartment was clean. The beds were comfortable, and it was great having two bathrooms. The host responded quickly and solved the problem when we asked additional kitchen tools. It was a fantastic place to stay! Would like to come back to stay here!
Very easy access to the building. Safe neighborhood. Listing is as described. Comfortable beds too. Definitely a place to stay when you plan to be out and about all day and sleep at night.
We had a great stay and the unit had everything we needed for our long weekend. It is very close to the link and we were able to use public transit to get all over the Seattle. We were able to walk to Safeway and Trader Joe’s to get all of our groceries for the trip and had a ton of great restaurants and cafes within a 10 minute walk. We felt very safe and had no issues with noise. The sun came out one of the days and we spent the afternoon on the patio. The beds were extremely comfortable and the included towels and bathroom toiletries were great quality.
Great stay at this property. Four adults were very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, shops, etc. The house is new, in great condition, and was spotless. The roof deck is a nice bonus space for relaxing with a downtown skyline view. Neighborhood was quiet despite proximity to so much. Washer/dryer was very much appreciated. Will definitely look into rebooking on future trips.
The only thing to note is that guests with limited mobility might find this place challenging as it's a tall and narrow property with a lot of stairs.
The property was as advertised. The beds were very comfortable and the roof top deck amazing. If it weren’t so warm, I would have spent more time out there. I was a little disappointed in the living area, the couch was stained a bit and there wasn’t much seating. Also, the weeds in front of the property were nearly overtaking the sidewalk.
Other than that, I loved the location and we had everything we needed!
The property was as described but the 3rd floor bedroom smelled HORRIBLY of body odor - permeated the bedding, the pillows and the air. I left the window open for a several hours (it was freezing outside) to help air out the room. It helped some but the bedding and pillows smelled atrocious. Also the bed itself was hard as a rock.
The neighborhood was very walkable and that was nice.
The property itself was very clean and smelled of cleaning products when we arrived.
It was a place to sleep. Likely wouldn’t stay there again
My hub and I stayed here for a week in early Feb w/ our son, who's a local in the neighborhood. A perfect location to walk to the shops/eateries on 15th, to Broadway, Pike & Pine for dinner/bars, as well as a couple blocks to the LightRail station to get down to Pike's Market or Pioneer Sqr. We did a lot of walking. Bonus, Safeway was around the block.Trader Joe's & PCC are not too far away either. Neighborhood was quiet & filled with mostly people walking dogs. Parking permit was key...know that you have to move your car every 72hrs. The accommodations were perfect for 3 able-bodied people. This unit had 3 floors; a bedroom/bathroom each on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Good for privacy, and excercise. Kitchen on the 1st floor was outfitted with the basics for us to prep our morning coffee & breakfast, cook a light meal, & have a glass of wine at the end of the day. The sitting area was comfy for us to relax after our days of walking. Beds were super comfy, and everything was clean on our arrival. There were extra pillows & blankets & the washer/dryer came in handy too. Bathrooms were spotless. Great deal of natural light in the unit-so helpful on rainy winter days in Seattle. Loved the access to the rooftop area- we spent some time up there on a 'warmer' evening viewing the city scenery. Loved the bright & airy aesthetic of this space. The building seemed fairly new & modern. Easy communication w/ manager! Enjoyed our stay in Seattle.
Very clean and comfortable place for our family. We were able to walk downtown to a variety of attractions and not worry about driving. The rooftop patio was awesome! The kitchen was well stocked and there was a grocery and restaurants close by.
Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay. The first floor living area was rather small and not quite as comfortable as we would’ve liked. We did let you know about needing a shelf in the bathrooms. Also, a bath mat would be nice so we would not have to use a towel. And lastly it would be helpful if you were more specific about the recycling.
I highly recommend this VRBO. It was so clean and easy to find. The best part of this townhouse is the rooftop deck with a view of the Seattle waterfront. The owner was also very helpful by answering my questions.
Everything about this place was amazing—location, communication, cleanliness, comfort. One evening we had to drive for a few minutes and park a couple of blocks away, but that worked out just fine. The location is phenomenal. Walkable to great restaurants and Pike’s Place. Great rooftop patio with clear view of city/needle; saw Rainier the first night. Up to date amenities. Love love loved it and would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay in this townhouse! It was clean and comfortable. The quality of the everything from the appliances, bedding down to the towels were great. The hosts were very nice and responsive. Being in Capital Hill, it is located close to all the Seattle sights with easy access to the highway. There are so many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Parking on the street was a little difficult late at night, but we were always able to find something nearby. Would stay here again!
The place was lovely and super clean 👍👍. If I could make a suggestion, I would suggest a few little welcome things left such as a couple bottles of water, a few snacks etc. We have enjoyed that in other rentals and it is a welcome sight when you arrive after a long day or two of travelling. You are arriving in a place where you may struggle to find a store near you or still open.
Seating was not real comfortable for 4 adults.
It's clean and comfortable (if you don't mind climbing the stairs a lot), in a very nice, mostly quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Basically it's a small 2 bedroom apartment arranged vertically. With queen-sized beds the bedrooms are cramped. The first floor living room-kitchen combo is very small. The huge refrigerator and 5-burner stove are a waste of space, especially considering the tiny dining table. It is over-decorated with a huge number of fake plants cluttering up all of the tables. We simply re-located them to the floor.
The location is great. The only time we needed a car was when we went to Mt Rainier. All of the problems with the space were minor, either easy to fix or ignore. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again.
We were in town to watch some baseball for a weekend. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The place was clean and the host couldn’t have been nicer. Would definitely stay here again.
