“We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. “We had such an amazing time at this property, the photos of the house are exactly as pictured. The pool & beach views are incredible and the home is clean, with a ton of space for a friends or couple weekend or a family trip. We did not want to leave!!! “This was our first time in Folly beach & we loved it! The apartment was small but had everything we needed. The AC was cold, the bed was comfortable, & the location was fabulous! Only 2 blocks to the beach & to Center Street! We loved the laid back vibe & will definitely be back! The only negative was the upstairs neighbor was up at 5 am every morning & we could hear them moving around. Other than that, we loved our stay!”

“We enjoyed our three night stay! The balcony is huge and a lovely place to relax. Property was as described! Lolo’s (almost exactly across the street) has amazing food. We are in our 50’s and had no problem with the four flights of stairs, however we are active and don’t mind the exercise.”

“This was a very comfortable house. Unsure why it has anything less than 5 star reviews. It was convenient to everything. In fact, I wish we could have stayed longer. If there was a larger group there, there may be an issue because there is only one bathroom, but for the price, you cannot beat this. Its basically across the street from food and grocery stores. Convenient to Charleston, Folly Beach, and anything you need. It is a duplex. Just be aware because people get confused for some reason.……

“Clean, spacious, walking distance to great restaurants. As described, near highway so outdoor space is not pleasant for sitting but the highway noise was not noticeable indoors. Comfortable mattress!!!!!! Had to buy a corkscrew!!! Should be number one amenity!!! “We rented the property during our sons graduation. It is in the heart of downtown Charleston, walking distance to a lot. It has a soul restaurant literally 20 steps from it. It comes with the challenges of an old house, but at the same time it was quaint. It was very clean and has everything you will need. I would gladly stay again.”
