“This is such a great spot to use as a base to explore the coast. It is a comfortable, spacious suite with everything you need. I could've used a proper kitchen but I also managed fine without it. Hosts were super responsive and very helpful. Excellent value. Walking a couple of mins round the corner to be dazzled by the amazing sunset over the water was an absolute treat.”

Sophie has taken the time to decorate and appoint the suite very well and was very quick to respond to any questions. “The stay wasn't bad. We loved Gibson, very cute place to visit but definitely picking another place. The parking instructions was not accurate. They said to parking on a certain street but turns out that was wrong. Even the buzzer code was different than the listing. The bed was horrible, had a huge dip in it, both of us slept terrible both nights. And the constant yelling from the owners above us was not professional. I thought to be on Vrbo it had to be separate building not a basement suite.”

“An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready……
