“Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue”

“Beautiful stay at the oakhurst farm cottages. Farm shop had lots of food choices for an easy meal or a braai. Lovely meal baskets and a wonderful facility with lots of different options and things to do. Would love to head back in the future!”

“This is our new favourite when we are in the George area. The amenities are excellent. Walking distance to York St where you can find restaurants, bars, fuel stations, etc. The location is seriously awesome, close enough to get onto the N2 to head either toward Mosselbay/Cape Town, or toward Wilderness, Knysna area. It was wonderful to be able to do a load of laundry, too as this can become troublesome after a while. The cottage itself is awesome. We loved the modern, beachy vibe. But that……

“Some debris from other guests was left in the room and the carpets could have been cleaner. Wifi access was very poor. Fridge was not working when we arrived and staff fixed it, but it took time. There had been a sponge in the kitchen the first day, but then it disappeared. Staff was friendly and the property was in good repair.”
