“If you are going to Bar Harbor I highly recommend staying here. The location was relaxing and quiet, town is about 10 minutes away. The book of information on the table was fantastic. “Quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple, conveniently located just a few minutes from the main Acadia Visitors Center. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals when you aren’t dining in Bar Harbor. We stayed a full week which was long enough to hit the Acadia highlights. Host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll book this VRBO again if we return to Acadia.”

“The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park.”

“The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. Everything about the stay was very comfortable and it's a very quiet location.I was able to go for a nature walk just .1 miles away and bike to a beach that was 2.4 miles away. It was a bit of a distance from Bar Harbor but a lovely scenic drive to get there and back. Alan was a wonderful host and we did a lovely campfire one of the evenings.”

“We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him.”
