But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Perfect spot in Sedona!

Nice walk to the downtown and we took an extended walk to the Brins Mesa trailhead (parking was challenging at the various trailheads during our stay). The house was easy to find, clean, bright, and comfortable! Host was easily accessible. House is within a quiet neighborhood with amazing views!

Very nice, well appointed home. Appliances look new and worked well. some amenities were upscale. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Communications with Alec were superb. Minor issue with one electrical circuit which limited living room lighting, but Alec was on it promptly.
