The Rooms Upstairs Sanctuary Room #4 is one of 2 unique and charming accommodations one block off Hwy 89a in Uptown Sedona, Arizona, for nightly or weekly stays. We offer a motel like experience with this room situated in a building that is an Architect Business downstairs. The rooms are reserved separately. Conveniently located 1 block from Hwy 89a which is the main road going through Sedona's Uptown locations, including shops, restaurants, sightseeing and museums. Ideal for guests who like to just walk or do not travel with a car, but we do have our own parking lot for those that bring one.

The property is one of only two private hotel-style rooms over an award winning building acclaimed for its architectural style. After a day of sightseeing, step out on the private patio to relax and take in the breathtaking views that Sedona is world famous for.

Step out the door and walk to fantastic hiking such as the famous Brins Mesa, Jordan Park or Cibola Trails. Check out the local eateries just steps from your door, or prepare your meals in the room with a view and never have to leave it.

But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! We spent 4 days hiking and doing all things Sedona. This place was great because we could access much of the shopping and food options by walking from the rental. In addition, just up Jordan road we were able to access some of the trails just above town. Being able to walk around from the rental was a big plus since Sedona was super busy during Christmas week and we didn't have to worry about parking.

A hidden gem! We loved the accommodations as it was well appointed. The outdoor terrace was very relaxing after long days of touring the area. Coffee and creamer was another added bonus. Everything was in walking distance and not hilly at all. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay over the 4th of July! The suite was clean, quaint, and artsy—perfect for a Sedona getaway. The location was super convenient, just a block from restaurants and shopping. The one-bedroom, one-bath setup was comfortable, and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. We especially loved the huge outdoor patio with scenic views all around. The host was great and very responsive.
