“Property is as they say. Right on the water. Just take a few stone steps down a hill to a fireplace platform then from there a few more to the lake. The house had everything we needed other then lids for bowls/plastic wrap/baggies for leftover food. But that was poor planning on our part. Rooms were nice and spacious. Only downside to our trip was the tornado that hit the town and we lost electricity for the remainder of our trip. Plus side: there was a large enough closest in basement to fit……

“The cabin was Charming and Cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We were looking for a calm weekend. So it worked. There were a couple of things that could have made our visit better. The mattresses were old and not very comfortable. The front door lock did not work sometimes. No dishwasher yet they said to load the dishwasher when we leave.”

“The cabin was the perfect size for my wife and I. Clean and cozy. The only adverse feature is path / step-way from the parking spot behind the cabin. Somewhat inconvenient and dangerous for walking and carrying items to / from the vehicle to the cabin. ”

“My daughter and I stayed here over Memorial weekend and had an amazing time. I cant quite put into words how much we loved this place. It smells like history and books. There is an entire wall of so many different books - I wish I could stay for a year to relax and read them all! They also have dvds, video games, puzzles, and board games. The beds are comfy, everything was very clean, and the location is close to everything. Matt and Samantha are exceptional hosts and respond to messages within……
