「I would rate the room 3 out of 5 stars. While the issues were relatively minor, there were several maintenance and cleanliness concerns. I noticed mild mold in the bathtub and around the sink, the bed comforters had visible tears, and the bathroom exhaust vent was broken. We also experienced a drainage issue, but I appreciate that maintenance responded promptly and resolved it during our stay. The staff was great and the breakdown was ok.」

「This property was affordable and close to Daytona State College campus and apartments we needed to visit while there. So cool to see The Daytona Speedway each time we left the motel.」

「My first time in Florida, and I gotta say I’m really impressed by this hotel. It was super nice, and quiet. Room services were in our room switching sheets and filling new towels every 2 days. I gotta say I’m really impressed overall with how this hotel handled itself. Front desk were always helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. I’d stay here again.」

「There were no amenities to speak of. The desk staff were totally uninformative. Staff had my car towed even though it was not in a tow zone and without notifying me that it was towed. The bathroom had towels that had been used by a precious guest. I will never use this motel ever again.」

「My wife and I travel to the Daytona Beach area every few months, to check on a relative. We have stayed at several “On the Beach Hotels” this was by far our favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming treating their guests like family. We will be staying here on our future visits.」

「We ended up staying here last minute after canceling our original reservation, and we’re glad we did. It’s a small, quaint hotel that was clean, quiet, and had plenty of parking. The pool area was a highlight—lots of chairs and umbrellas, and the pool stayed wonderfully warm all day. The only downsides were that the A/C in our room could have been much colder, and the hotel should do a better job preventing people who park for beach access from using the pool.
