Hostel Tommy was perfect for our stay in Seoul. Ideally located in a cool neighbourhood close to subway station. Easy to walk around and there is everything you need nearby. We loved that we could cook our own meal and the free breakfast was lovely. Tommy is so nice and helpful and all the staff is very friendly. The hostel is super clean and is an excellent value overall. Would definitely come back!

This hostel was very ideally located for visiting many places, including Jongmyo shrine and Insa-dong. It is also fairly close to the Jongno 3-ga subway station, so transportation is easy. The rooms were very clean, and I enjoyed having a private bathroom.

The hotel location is really great, walkable from the stations and famous attractions such as palaces. There are also convenient stores nearby, and one is right next to the hotel. Tommy and staff are really kind and helpful. The room was also warm and comfortable.

Tommy and Nicholas were so friendly and made us feel so welcome! They went out of their way to be helpful and gave us loads of good tips for our trip. In fact we tried to book again on our way back but it was booked out. Highly recommended, really great location to walk around, eat and enjoy Seoul! Thank you!

Good Central Location

Nice hostel close to several of the palaces and popular locations. Near metro, so easy to get to other places. I had a small single room which was adequate, except it was difficult to use the shower. Room amenities were fine, bed was comfortable, pillow was great, room was heated and window could be opened for (very) fresh air (6C). Good, adequately kitted out common area. Free breakfast limited to cocpops, cornflakes, bread, condiments, juice, tea (no black tea) and coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is that when someone turns up early that they give some priority to getting their room ready first, especially when it is a cold and wet day outside. I knew and understood that their checkin time was 4pm, however a little bit of consideration for those arriving early would have made this place perfect (I actually didn’t get my room until shortly after 4pm).

All the staff were very nice & very helpful even though , except the CEO, others were not fluent in English. Our flight arrived late and we reached Hostel Tommy at 1 am. Had no toruble with self check-in. It is quiet a place, just a 5-6 minutes walk from Jongno 3-ga subway station and 15 - 20 minutes walking distance to palaces. There is a 7-11 on ground floor of this building several eating places near the subway station. Breakfast is simple cereals & toast . But you can use the microwave and dining / common area throught the day. The only discordant note was about room cleaning. It was mentioned that it would be done every third day. We stayed for four days. Our room was not cleaned. Since we could get fresh towels from reception ( and leave the old ones there) it was not a big deal for us. But would have been nice. We do look forward to staying here on our future visit.

The staff was super welcoming and helpful and there was breakfast out every day the location was good as its only about 2 minute walk from the subway station.
