From Gimpo Airport one bus driving directly to the hotel. From Hotel very good public transportation to go anywhere. Wowpass machine directly in the Hotel. You have everything you need to stay comfortable.

Clean and quiet room, very friendly staff, plus you can find a cafe and a restaurant in the hotel. This hotel is situated in a calmer area of Seoul, still with short distance to 3 Korean Heritage sites, and not too far from Myeongdong Market and Seoul Tower! Gamsahabnida, Orakai Hotel :)

The room is small but the location was great. The only other downside is that you cannot control the thermostat and it gets very hot and stuffy in the room. I also don’t easily get hot so I cannot imagine how it would be for those who have to crank up the AC.

The room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy, and I wasn’t able to adjust the temperature. I rarely feel too warm, so I can only imagine how uncomfortable it might be for others. The pillows were also not very comfortable.

We had a bath as well as shower which was so relaxing. Nice breakfast. We caught public transport. Metro station, train station and buses all fairly easy to get to. Ubers also a good option. Walk to Temple.

Enjoyed our stay at Orakai, staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we found out after we got to our room that they do not run AC in April. I sleep hot, so had to leave the windows opened at night. This was the first hotel I’ve stayed at that did not allow us to turn on the AC. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. My husband and I were near where we wanted to be, nice walk to Inksedong, Insadong, and Bukchon. The restaurants close by close early on the weekend, so you need to go a little further for food. During the weekdays, restaurants stayed opened a little later.

Perfect First Night in Korea

I stayed in Orakai hotel for my first night in Korea, and it was the perfect start to my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. And the staff downstairs were friendly, patient, and understanding. I really enjoyed taking a bath after the many hours I spent on the plane! I would stay here again!

Enjoyable stay

Great sized room for a solo traveler. When I arrived at my room there were no towels but the front desk quickly provided them. The room had a little wear (e.g. chipped paint) but overall was in good condition. The Illy cafe on the ground floor was very convenient and there's a convenience store about one block away for snacks and other necessities. Overall good location with a short walk to the Changdeokgung Palace and a slightly longer walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace.

I found difficulty in choosing hotels in Seoul. This hotel is comparatively more modern. I am surprised to find a big gym here. A convenience store within 30 second walk. However, this hotel is not close to the subway and a bit quiet nearby. Plus Google map didn’t work well in Seoul, causing me took Uber always for safety issue. Found one piece of hair in the toilet and one on the wash basin. With limited choice of hotels in Seoul, I guess it’s a good option?

Our first room has a dysfunctional shower where water was leaking into the toilet area. The staff then moved us to a room that had gnats in the shower and asked us if we’d like them to spray something ti get rid of them. We asked for a different room, so we were downgraded to a smaller room with a lower floor and worse view. When asked if there was a price difference for the downgrade, the staff stated the size difference wasn’t significant enough for a price change. We got the economy room which means they only clean our room on specific days. On the days they did clean,it was subpar. Instead of refilling our shampoo and conditioner bottles, they placed extra bottles (I’ve never seen a hotel do this before) so we had a total of 5 bottles of product in our shower. My blanket also had short straight hairs all over it after it had been made by housekeeping which was odd because I have long, curly hair. The location is not great either because there is no subway entrance nearby. You have to walk at least 10 minutes. The only public transportation available is bus which is still a 5-6 minute walk which feels far if you’re visiting in the summer heat. Overall the experience was subpar and I would not stay here again.

比較的新しいホテルのため全体的にきれいでした。スーツケースは大きいもの3つくらい広げるのが限界かと思います。トイレとシャワールームは別々で洗面台も広く、テーブルが2つあったりと物を置くスペースもたくさんありました。7泊しましたが、問題なく過ごせました。最寄りの駅から少し歩きますがバス停は近くにあります。エアコンの温度調節を各部屋で出来ないことが夏などは少し気になりますが、それ以外が大変満足でしたので、また利用したいと思います。
