“My husband & I stayed 3 nights at this apartment. Can’t beat the view from the terrace. Nice home base for all we wanted to do In Pinhão. Took an 8 hour wine tour with Douro Tours…visited wineries, view points, lunch & boat ride….really nice day & our guide Phillip was wonderful! Our favorite places in Pinhao....O'Porco store...really nice older gentleman that recommended olives & cheese via of our translator app. Pra Li Bar...best sandwiches...tried the tuna, chicken & pork...all were so tasty……

“The property is a small home with all conveniences, including heat and a/c. It is well cared for and has a nice view of the river. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family.”

“dommage, l entretien extérieur laisse à désirer, pas de possibilité de manger à l'extérieur car pas de table ni chaises., pas d'eau chaude s'il pleut,panneaux solaires.Capacite ballon eau chaude insuffisant pour 15 persqonnes. Annoncé 10 chambres ,seulement 6 chambres dans la maison. (mensonge) , chambre d'appoint inconfortable;. service repas proposé, tarif excessif en rapport qualité, propriétaire vend du rève. Une mauvaise foi certaine. intrusif dans la maison. Cuisine manque d'ustensiles en……

“A casa da muralha ficará para sempre nas nossas memórias como um lugar de descanso e paz. Com vistas maravilhosas e um quintal com piscina fantástico, é uma casa acolhedora, ideal para explorar a beleza de Vila Nova de Foz Côa, a magnifica zona do Douro interior e, claro, as gravuras paleolíticas. Esperamos voltar!”

“We loved the villa and the surrounding vineyard setting! It was a difficult drive up without signage around the villa and would recommend arriving during daylight. But the drive was worth it!!”

“The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades.”

“The tour around the town is really interesting, if you get the opportunity to do the private tour I’d highly recommend it, we even went into backyards to check on the almonds drying, and picked figs off the tree to eat. So relaxing and quiet. Dinner and breakfast in the Restaurant was delicious and the service brilliant, The apartment has subdued lighting which fits with the room but might not be enough for everyone, we would stay here again if in the area.”

“We were very impressed by this apartment; the best that we stayed in during our three week trip to Portugal. We arrived late in the afternoon to find a spread of meats and cheese, fresh bread, and a large bowl of fruit. In the refrigerator was milk, orange juice, eggs, yogurt and a bottle of wine. A fresh loaf of bread was delivered every morning. When Ana says breakfast is included she really pampered us. The view from the balcony over the river was wonderful. And since it's Spring there were……
